ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking an Assistant Controller to build and scale the accounting function through a period of rapid growth. This leader
will report to the Chief Financial Officer and own core accounting operations, financial reporting, audit readiness, and process
transformation as the company scales from sub-$100M revenue to well beyond $1bn ARR. The ideal candidate combines strong technical
accounting expertise with hands-on operational leadership, systems implementation experience, and a passion for leveraging AI and
automation to drive efficiency.
This role will partner closely with Finance, Marketing, Operations, FP&A, Legal, and external auditors to establish a scalable,
best-in-class accounting organization capable of supporting a high-growth consumer subscription business.

THE ROLE
Most data teams report on the business. Ours builds with it. We're shipping LLM-generated clinical content, agentic assistants,
and recommendation systems behind the tools pet parents actually use.
This role is a split between data platform architecture and AI infrastructure. Half your time will go toward scaling our Snowflake
environment, building semantic layers, and managing clinical data pipelines. The other half will go toward building the backend
runtime systems that safely execute our LLM features in production.
This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, but you will be expected to set the technical standard for the team
and mentor the engineers and analysts already here. You will report directly to the VP of Data & AI.
