As our Commissioning Engineer you will have an important role out on the field with our customers. You will coordinate on site commissioning activities and ensure that our equipment and systems are managed and follow-up in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and health & safety requirements. It is a fantastic work with a lot of various challenges, where you build a good network and get a lot of opportunities. How you’ll make an impact
Ensure the successful execution of testing and commissioning activities in alignment with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements from the beginning of the project to the final handover to the customer.
Implement commissioning design changes and provides mark-ups for as-built project documentation.
Acts as key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicate with all stakeholders.
Coordinate site activities focused on finalizing customer acceptance Certificate.
Give feedback to the organization to apply lessons learned and work on continuous improvements together with the team.
Apply and improve processes and tools in your technical area to ensure effective project delivery.
Your background
You enjoy problem-solving and are engaged and driven person who are true team player.
You hold a university degree in Electrical, Power electronics engineering, and some years of similar work experience within services or commissioning of electrical power plants and/or control systems. Previous experience from HVDC or FACTS applications is a merit.
You can read and understand protection/electrical drawings and technical documents; must be able to disseminate this information to project teams.
You communicate effectively and act decisively.
You are open to travel up to 80%.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken is required to be able to interact with various stakeholders, proficiency in Swedish is an advantage.

The Opportunity As a Control System Performance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the dynamic performance of FACTS control systems throughout the entire delivery lifecycle. In this role, you will translate customer requirements and grid‑code specifications into well‑tuned, verified, and documented control behavior. You will work with advanced EMT and HIL simulations and collaborate closely with project teams, R&D, and customers to secure robust system performance. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting‑edge technologies in high‑power converter control systems and contribute directly to the stability and reliability of power grids worldwide. How you'll make an impact Ensure the control system’s dynamic performance from early design stages through FAT and site commissioning. Develop, tune, and verify control functions using Virtual MACH models; perform performance verification with PSCAD and RTDS/RSCAD. Conduct Control Performance Simulation Studies and support dynamic performance‑related studies during PSCAD simulations, Factory Acceptance Tests, and commissioning activities. Analyze customer requirements, grid codes, and technical specifications; translate them into verification cases and acceptance criteria. Present performance results to internal stakeholders and customers; investigate root causes of deviations and drive mitigation actions. Collaborate closely with Control Application, System Studies, System Design, and R&D teams to ensure high‑quality deliveries. Provide technical guidance and mentorship within the team, contributing to competence development and continuous knowledge sharing. Your Background M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related field. 5–8 years’ experience in power‑converter control and EMT simulations (PSCAD, RTDS/RSCAD). The opportunity In this role, you will be part of the HVDC System Performance Department which is responsible for the overall performance of HVDC transmission links. This includes the interaction of the link with the surrounding AC-networks and related AC-Network stability studies. As a System Study Engineer, you will have the opportunity to be part of large HVDC projects and be exposed to system studies performed during various stages of a project’s lifecycle.
