industrial technology.
Our systems are used by leading companies around the world within space, aerospace, energy, medical technology, automotive and
food innovation. Behind every delivery is close collaboration between electrical engineering, automation, mechanics, project
management and production throughout the entire delivery process.
We are now looking for an Electrical Design Engineer who wants to work in a technical environment with advanced machine systems,
customer-specific projects, and engineering work that matters all the way through to the final system.
The Role
As an Electrical Design Engineer at Quintus, you will work with electrical design for advanced high-pressure systems and
customer-specific solutions for global customers.
You will work close to both the actual systems and production, collaborate across disciplines, and contribute to solutions where
functionality, safety and reliability are critical.
You will join a highly collaborative engineering team where technical discussions, knowledge-sharing and solving challenges
together are part of everyday work.
The role is mainly based in Västerås, close to engineering and production. You should be prepared to travel on occation in
connection with customer projects.
Your Profile
We believe you have a background within electrical design in industrial systems, advanced machinery, manufacturing or similar
technical environments. You understand how electrical systems are built and integrated into larger machine solutions, and you are
comfortable working with standards, technical requirements and structured engineering processes.
We welcome both early-career and experienced engineers. The role can be adapted depending on your background, but what matters is
that you want to work close to advanced technology, customer-specific solutions and cross-functional engineering. With more

Do you want to take an independent role within industrial automation, working with advanced machine systems, customer-specific deliveries and technical responsibility in projects? At Quintus Technologies, automation is a key part of delivering world-leading high-pressure systems to customers across the globe. Their systems are used in industries such as space, aerospace, energy, medical technology, automotive and food innovation – and every delivery requires close collaboration between automation, electrical engineering, mechanics, project management and production. Quintus Technologies is now looking for an Automation Engineer who wants to take an active role in automation projects, contribute with solid technical experience and be part of developing advanced solutions for customers around the world. The Role As an Automation Engineer at Quintus, you will work with automation solutions for advanced machine systems and customer-specific deliveries. The work includes PLC and HMI programming, testing, troubleshooting and support during commissioning and customer deliveries. You will take responsibility for automation-related parts of the projects and drive the work forward in close collaboration with electrical design, mechanical engineering, fluid systems, project management and production. With production located close by, you work close to both testing and final delivery, which creates short feedback loops and a practical connection to the product. The role also includes contributing to technical discussions, improving ways of working and supporting less experienced colleagues in automation-related questions. Your Profile We believe you have solid experience from industrial automation and are confident working with PLC and HMI programming, preferably in Rockwell and Siemens. You may have worked with advanced machinery, process equipment, production equipment or other technically complex systems where reliability and technical precision are important. You are used to taking responsibility in projects, solving technical problems and working closely with other disciplines. Experience from industrial communication, fieldbus systems, cyber security considerations and support during commissioning is valuable, as is experience from international projects or customer-specific technical solutions. We are also interested in candidates with a strong foundation in PLC/HMI programming and some experience from industrial automation, who are ready to grow into a role with more responsibility over time. As a person, you are structured, responsible and technically confident. You take initiative, approach technical challenges with curiosity and enjoy solving problems together with others. You share knowledge, support colleagues when needed and contribute to a strong team environment. Fluency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken is required. Interested?
