Responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, maintenance and development of all facilities, utilities and supporting infrastructure within the company’s production and office environments. The role ensures safety, reliability and efficiency across all systems while supporting production continuity and sustainability goals
Key Responsibilities

Plan, maintain and improve facility systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and sewage systems.

Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in facility or maintenance engineering.
Proven experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.

Experience working with building management systems (BMS).

Lyten is seeking an experienced Facility & Utility technician with specific competence in pressurized vessels. In this role you will be responsible for the safe operation, monitoring, inspection, maintenance, and regulatory compliance of pressurized equipment and systems in accordance with AFS 2023:11 and site procedures. Supports the facility's pressure equipment program, risk assessments, and continuous supervision activities. Additionally you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, maintenance and development of all facilities and supporting infrastructure within the company’s production and office environments. The role ensures that utilities (such as water, heating/cooling, compressed air, gases, and electrical distribution) and facility systems (buildings, workshops, access, and general services) are maintained at high standards to support production continuity and workplace safety and sustainability goals. Key Responsibilities Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to) Electrical Maintenance & Repair: · Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on low-voltage electrical systems (up to 1,000V), including lighting, power distribution panels, and control circuits. · Diagnose and repair faults in electrical wiring, motors, sensors, and actuators. Automation Systems Support: · Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and other automation hardware for facility and utility equipment (e.g., HVAC, compressed air systems, water treatment). · Assist in programming and configuration changes under supervision of maintenance engineers or specialists Installation & Commissioning: · Install new electrical and automation components according to technical drawings and safety standards. · Support commissioning of new equipment and ensure compliance with local electrical codes.
