As a PLM Application Integration Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing integration solutions that connect PLM systems with enterprise applications, ensuring seamless data flow and alignment with business processes
How You Will Make an Impact
Partner with functional and business teams to gather integration requirements and define a scalable target integration architecture.
Design and implement integration strategies between PLM systems and ERP, CAD, and other enterprise platforms.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve integration challenges to maintain system reliability, performance, and data integrity.
Steer integration development activities, coordinating with internal and external technical teams.
Apply industry best practices for PLM integration, data exchange, and cross‑system interoperability.
Your Background
Solid expertise in PLM platforms (e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill) and their integration capabilities, including customization using ITK, SOA, or equivalent APIs.
Proven experience integrating PLM systems with ERP (SAP S/4HANA), CAD tools (NX, ECAD), and other enterprise applications.
Solid understanding of middleware technologies, APIs, web services (REST/SOAP), and data exchange formats such as XML and JSON.
Deep knowledge of PLM data models, configuration practices, and end‑to‑end integration scenarios.
Experience mapping business processes to PLM integration frameworks and ensuring alignment across engineering and enterprise systems.
Exceptional ability to troubleshoot integration issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and maintain system performance and data integrity.
Hands‑on exposure to complex, large‑scale PLM implementations involving multi‑system BOM synchronization and distributed supplier ecosystems.
Understanding of enterprise integration patterns, service‑oriented architecture (SOA), and web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, and XSLT.

Experience in project management and/or digitalization, automation, or engineering system initiatives. Good understanding of Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies. Experience working with ERP systems (such as SAP) or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM/PDM) tools; knowledge of Siemens NX is an advantage. An interest in manufacturing, industrial processes, or engineering environments. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business needs into practical solutions. Fluency in English; Swedish is beneficial but not required.
