POSITION SUMMARY We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Test Engineer to join our QA team and ensure the quality, reliability, and stability of business-critical applications. This role focuses on functional and backend testing, with a strong emphasis on data validation, SQL analysis, and verification of complex business processes. Working closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and QA Engineers, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality software by identifying defects, validating data integrity, and continuously improving testing processes within an Agile environment. The position requires 5 days/week in the office in Warsaw. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES TEST DESIGN & EXECUTION * Plan, design, and execute manual test cases for functional, integration, and regression testing. * Validate application functionality against business and technical requirements. * Perform end-to-end testing across multiple application components. DATABASE & BACKEND TESTING * Execute data validation and backend process testing. * Write and execute SQL queries to verify data integrity, investigate issues, and validate business logic. * Analyze database records, application logs, and data flows to identify defects and root causes. * Test REST and SOAP APIs to ensure correct system integration and data exchange. QUALITY ASSURANCE * Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test cases, test scenarios, and execution reports. * Log, track, and verify defects using Jira or similar defect management tools. * Support continuous improvement of QA standards, methodologies, and testing processes. COLLABORATION * Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and QA team members throughout the software development lifecycle. * Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives, and PI Planning. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE * 3+ years of commercial experience as a Manual Tester or QA Engineer. * Experience testing enterprise or business-critical applications. * Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. TECHNICAL SKILLS * Strong SQL skills, including complex queries (JOINs, subqueries, GROUP BY). * Hands-on experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server, or MySQL. * Experience testing backend systems and data-driven applications. * Practical experience testing REST and SOAP APIs. * Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar QA management tools. * Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and defect lifecycle management. SOFT SKILLS * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. * Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams. * Strong communication skills and proactive approach to quality improvement. Senior Java Developer (TMS) Job Responsibilities: • Design and implementation of IT solutions based on the presented analytical and technical documentation; • Reviewing analytical documentation; • Creating technical documentation; • Technical upgrade for existing system; • Working with legacy code • Conducting regular scans of the application and removing vulnerabilities Job Requirements: • Fully available in the Polish time zone; • Ability to work from the office in Warsaw (weekly: 4 days at the office + 1 day WFH ); • Very good knowledge of Java 8+ and object-oriented programming issues; • Experience in independent design, implementation, documentation, and testing of application components; • Very good and practical knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and JEE frameworks; • Practical knowledge with message queue systems, particularly RabbitMQ; • Practical knowledge of tools supporting the software development process: Maven, Git, Gitlab, Gitlab CI/CD, Jenkins, Nexus, Jira; • Knowledge of relational databases, in particular Oracle; • Practical knowledge of RESTful API design; • Experience in system integration; • Experience with distributed systems; • Experience with application servers, JBoss/WildFly; · Knowledge of scanning tools (Fortify, Sonatype..) • Knowledge of English / B2; Description of the area of involvement: TMS (Terminal Management System) is used to manage a very large number of payment terminals (300k+). It gives users a uniform way to manage different terminals from different hardware vendors. TMS has a complex architecture, consisting of two components: TMS (1 WildFly instance), providing a GUI and implementing some business functions, and RTMS (3 Spring-boot instances), implementing most of the business functionalities. A gradual migration from TMS to RTMS is being carried out. The system intensively uses Spring, Hibernate, and RabbitMQ. The system has distributed transactions (different two-phase-commit, saga approaches) and a distributed cache (Hazelcast). TMS is integrated with many internal and external systems (via REST, SOAP, RMI, direct database connections, and database links). The GUI is written in GWT and GWTExt.
Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and independent software engineer to join our SMM Engineering team for a specific project engagement relating to Production Engineering/Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). This role requires a proven track record of successful project execution, the ability to triage and resolve complex system issues, and the capacity to work autonomously while collaborating with the SMM Engineering team as needed. The engagement is project-based, focused on achieving specific, measurable deliverables related to SRE. Key Responsibilities: · System Reliability & Automation: Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality solutions, automation scripts, and tools to enhance the stability, performance, and efficiency of SMM electronic trading systems. This includes a strong propensity to automate manual tasks. · Deployment & Release Management: Contribute to the management of the release and deployment lifecycle for SMM applications, ensuring smooth and reliable rollouts. · Technical Collaboration: Partner with software and infrastructure owners to address software issues and provide system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning input · Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain clear, concise technical documentation for SRE solutions, automation, and operational procedures. Provide regular progress updates to SMM Engineering leads and trading stakeholders.
