the supervision of a senior team member located in Warsaw, operating in close collaboration with the Luxembourg-based Tax
Compliance team.
The Tax Compliance team is part of the global Tax & Structuring (T&S) function, which comprises more than 30 professionals
primarily based in Stockholm and Luxembourg, with a growing presence in the US, London, Singapore, and Hong Kong, as well as an
upcoming team in Warsaw.
The establishment of a Tax Compliance presence in Warsaw represents a key step in strengthening and scaling the global Tax
Compliance team. The Warsaw team will be fully integrated into the Tax Compliance organisation and will work closely with
colleagues in Luxembourg and the US notably. This role offers the opportunity to be part of building a new team from the ground
up, contribute to the evolution of processes and ways of working, and gain exposure to international fund structures and
cross-border tax compliance within a leading global investment firm.
The Tax Compliance team is multicultural, bringing together professionals with diverse backgrounds and experience across tax
compliance, accounting, advisory, M&A, and tax operations in multiple jurisdictions. The team works in a complex and evolving tax
landscape and prides itself on being open-minded, collaborative, and committed to continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
The Tax Compliance team is responsible for managing EQT’s international tax compliance obligations globally across partnerships
and corporate entities associated with EQT’s investment funds, carried interest, and employee-related vehicles. The team also
supports investor tax reporting and allocation calculations and acts as a key point of contact for investors by responding to ad
hoc tax-related inquiries.

ROLE As a UK Corporate Tax Associate, you will deal with the day-to-day UK corporation tax compliance cycle and support the group's tax governance framework, within a Global Tax Team. You will be partnering with Finance, Legal, and the business to deliver accurate filings and practical advice, with real scope for advisory and growth in a dynamic, international environment. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Prepare information and review UK corporation tax computations and returns (CT600), managing the compliance calendar and deadlines (including QIPs). * Support the tax accounting cycle—current and deferred tax provisions and disclosures under IFRS and/or US GAAP. * Identify risks and opportunities (capital allowances, R&D, loss utilisation, group relief, corporate interest restriction) and translate technical positions into clear guidance for non-specialists. * Support tax governance and risk: SAO, CCO procedures, the HMRC relationship (BRR+), and the published tax strategy. * Provide day-to-day advisory on UK matters—withholding taxes, interest deductibility (CIR), transfer pricing inputs, and cross-border transactions. * Manage HMRC enquiries, preparing robust documentation and liaising with advisers and internal stakeholders. WHO YOU ARE * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field. * Minimum 3 years of experience in UK corporate tax, in practice or in-house. * Sound working knowledge of UK corporation tax legislation. * Strong Excel skills; * Excellent written and verbal communication in English (our company language). * Able to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. * A team player with a proactive, pragmatic, hands-on attitude. The role will primarily focus on the delivery of tax compliance and tax accounting requirements for Man's US business, and developing and maintaining processes necessary for these. The candidate will work directly with the Group's outsourced service providers and with stakeholders across the business. Due to the diverse nature of the business, and the integrated nature of the Man tax department, the role will provide opportunities to work on advisory projects and to gain exposure to different tax regimes and the tax affairs of Man's investment products. Primary Responsibilities * Managing external service providers responsible for Man’s US federal/state/local tax compliance and reporting. Candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely preparation of deliverables, reviewing for accuracy, supporting internal stakeholders to provide any information required by service providers, and assisting in maintaining relationships with those service providers. * Ownership of any US tax reporting performed in house by the Man tax department, including calculating/ensuring accuracy of any necessary tax payments. * Working with stakeholders across Man to develop, document, and maintain processes for generate information necessary for tax reporting, and to control tax risk. Core Competencies * A strong understanding of US federal tax law, and a good appreciation of the broader US federal, state and local tax implications for a large, complex, foreign owned financial services business. * A strong understanding of international topics in US federal taxation (e.g. BEAT, CFCs/PFICs, GILTI, ECI, withholding taxes, transfer pricing), familiarly with the US model income tax treaty and its practical application, and the ways in which US tax systems interact with their non-US counterparts. * Experience preparing federal business tax returns (e.g. 1120, 1065) and accompanying forms/schedules, and their state equivalents. * A strong understanding of ASC 740 and accounting for income taxes. Experience with IAS 12/IFRS preferred. * The ability to independently research complex tax issues and effectively communicate key points to non-subject matter experts. * Experience of tax process improvement and project management. * Familiarity with the asset management industry and alternative investments, the ways in which an asset manager and its owners are compensated, and the tax implications thereof, is a strong plus. * Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to the needs of specific stakeholders. * The ability to both work independently and with a wide range of stakeholders, as necessary.
