Role Summary
The Territory Account Executive is responsible for generating profitable revenue from sales to customers within the public sector area in Germany, by selling with and through channel partners, primarily over the phone.

What You Will Do: * Build and expand relationships with public sector decision-makers, acting as a trusted partner on their digital transformation journey. * Own the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, to drive the adoption of Camunda’s best-in-class automation solutions. * Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans, leveraging your expertise and network to identify opportunities and deliver results. * Collaborate across technical, product, and customer success teams to ensure value realisation and customer satisfaction. * Navigate complex negotiations and public procurement processes with resilience and professionalism. * Represent Camunda at industry events, advocating for Camunda’s portfolio with compelling communication and presentations. What You Will Bring to the Role: Must Haves: * Strong track record in software sales, driving five to six digit ARR projects. * Demonstrable experience with Public Sector evaluation and procurement methods * Well-established network within Germany’s public sector. * Highly self-motivated with a “Manager of One” mindset, equally comfortable working independently and collaboratively. * Expert customer focus, negotiation, and relationship management skills. * Proven drive for results and resilience in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. * Excellent communication and presentation skills in both German and English Nice to Haves: * Background in automation technology, workflow software, or process orchestration. * Experience with open source business models and communities. * Startup or scale-up context. Salary ranges are location-based, with Standard and Major markets (global tech hubs) reflecting local competition. The Annual Total Target Cash (base salary + 100% variable target, where applicable) shown below spans from the minimum in a Standard market to the maximum in a Major market. We're looking for a senior salesperson with deep public sector expertise to own this market – building and executing the playbook for how Beauhurst wins large, strategic deals with central government, universities and local authorities. This is a senior role that combines strategy and execution. You'll be responding to major tenders, but you'll also be generating significant pipeline outside of them – through cold outreach, marketing-led campaigns, events, and your own network. You'll have a proven MEDDIC-led methodology and a fully developed tech stack to support you, and you'll be helping shape how we price our product, prioritise our territory and evolve our offering.
