ANYbotics is a fast-growing tech company dedicated to shaping the future of mobile robotics across multiple industries. Join our highly talented and motivated team of more than 200 people and work on cutting-edge robot technology.
The Opportunity
Are you a self-driven engineer who thrives on the shop floor? We are looking for a pragmatic, structured, and hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to join our Production and Maintenance Team in the heart of Zurich.
In this role, you work in the value stream, taking responsibility for our daily manufacturing operations. You provide first-level support and diagnose technical issues to maintain throughput and testing uptime. Your scope includes the maintenance of our current robot generation and driving the NPI execution on the shop floor, specifically the build and troubleshooting of prototypes and zero-series units.
You act as the interface between Industrialisation, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, and Logistics, while collaborating with our EMS partner to ensure stable series production. If you have an "on-hands" mentality and want to implement KPIs to resolve bottlenecks in a high-tech scale-up, this is your next challenge.
The Market & Our Technology
ANYbotics transforms the industrial sector by introducing robotics to a wide range of novel applications that so far were beyond reach (see our case studies in Chemicals, Oil & Gas, Railways, Wind Energy, Mining, Construction). Our customers are large asset operators and service providers of industrial plants pioneering robotics technology for inspection and maintenance. Our solution enables autonomous routine inspections and monitoring of large-scale industrial facilities for increased safety and productivity. We develop numerous customized hardware systems, including the entire robotic platform, actuators, sensors, inspection payloads, charging systems, and software to achieve world-class mobility, autonomy, and inspection capabilities, often based on AI. We have proven the technology and the business impact on our customers in long-term pilot projects. We are now scaling the commercialization of our solution(s) and deploying directly into operation at customer facilities worldwide.
SAEKI - MANUFACTURING AT SOFTWARE SPEED Europe's defense industrial base cannot respond at the speed modern conflict requires. Legacy suppliers operate on month-long timelines. Tribal knowledge is retiring. Supply chains are fragile. SAEKI is building the operating system for autonomous factories — the infrastructure that lets Europe manufacture mission-critical components at software speed. You'll build the customer-facing portal and factory operating system features that connect our customers to our factory. When a critical defense program needs parts by next week, your code is how they get them. THE ROLE As a Senior Full Stack Engineer on our Platform team, you'll own development of our customer portal and ERP/MES systems — the interface between our Manufacturing Intelligence stack and the humans who use it. You'll architect features from customer CAD upload to real-time order tracking to operator work instructions. Based at our HQ in Zurich (Oerlikon), you'll build: Customer Portal: CAD upload, automated quoting, order management, secure document exchange, real-time production tracking. or Factory OS (ERP/MES): Job scheduling, work order management, operator interfaces, production dashboards, quality workflows. Note: You do not need defense or manufacturing experience to excel in this role. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR * 5+ years of experience as a software engineer with a proven track record of shipping production-ready applications. * Technical Excellence: Strong command of TypeScript, React, and modern backend patterns (Go, Python, or Rust). Comfortable with PostgreSQL optimization and API design. * End-to-End Ownership: You own features from database schema to API design to frontend implementation. You don't wait for someone else to handle "the other half." * Technical Agency: Comfortable making decisions with minimal supervision. You have a passion for building interfaces that solve complex user workflows. * First Principles Thinker: You reason by physics and economics, not analogy. * Industrial Grit: Comfortable spending time on the shop floor in Germany to see how your software interacts precision machinery. * Maniacal Urgency: You understand that speed is our only edge. You thrive in the "chaos-to-order" phase of a startup. * On-site: Ability to work in-person at our HQ in Zurich, Switzerland. WHAT WE'RE NOT LOOKING FOR - Engineers who only work on frontend or only work on backend. You must be comfortable across the full stack. - People who need detailed specs before they start building. You'll work directly with users and define the solution yourself. - Developers who ship code and move on. You own the outcome — not just the PR. - Engineers who are uncomfortable with ambiguity or rapidly changing priorities. WHAT WE OFFER * Mission: Rebuild the industrial sovereignty of the West. Your work directly enables the production of mission-critical hardware for defense and space. * Total Ownership: High-stakes autonomy in your domain. You own both the problems and the solutions — and have the authority to execute. * The Environment: Access to a 5,000m² state-of-the-art facility featuring 5-axis CNCs, industrial robots, and industrial 3D printers. Your work runs on real hardware from day one. * The Team: "Special Forces" model. Everyone senior, everyone ships. No politics, no bureaucracy. Direct feedback, high standards. * Compensation: Competitive salary + meaningful equity. * Location: Zurich HQ or Factory ONE in Munich, depending on role. Hybrid options available where applicable. APPLY * Resume: Focus on systems you've built and owned. * GitHub/Portfolio: Show us work you're proud of — code, machines, or production systems. * Cover letter: Why this mission? Why now? What would you build first?

SAEKI - MANUFACTURING AT SOFTWARE SPEED Europe's defense industrial base cannot respond at the speed modern conflict requires. Legacy suppliers operate on month long timelines. Tribal knowledge is retiring. Supply chains are fragile. SAEKI is building the operating system for autonomous factories - the infrastructure that lets Europe manufacture mission-critical components at software speed. You'll own the interface layer between our Manufacturing Intelligence (MI) stack and the humans who use it: customers placing orders on our portal, operators running our flagship Factory ONE in Germany, engineers optimizing production. Your work directly determines whether a defense program gets parts in weeks instead of months. THE ROLE As the Tech Lead - Factory OS, you are the Architect and Owner of our Manufacturing Intelligence interface stack. Your mandate is twofold: building the foundational architecture of our Factory OS and building the engineering team required to manifest it. You are a Player-Coach who owns a core division of the company, acting as the bridge between the CEO's vision and production-ready code. Based at our new HQ in Zurich (Oerlikon), you'll lead development of the complete interface stack of our Manufacturing Intelligence platform: Customer-Facing Products: Our Customer Portal, ERP and MES, Partner Integration APIs, Defense-grade Security. Factory-Facing Tools: Operator Interfaces, Production Dashboards, Quality Management systems. Note: You do not need to have defense or manufacturing experience to excel in this role WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR * 5-7+ years of experience as a software engineer with a track record of architecting complex, scalable platforms that serve real users under real constraints. * Divisional Leadership: Proven experience owning a core element of a company or leading a new product division from 0-to-1. * Team Construction: Experience recruiting and mentoring high-performance engineering teams. You know how to identify and attract "A-Players." * Technical Agency: You are an expert in our tech stack (React, TypeScript, and Go, Python, or Rust) and are comfortable making high-stakes architectural decisions with minimal supervision. * Builder, not a Manager: You lead through code, not just meetings. You own the architecture from design to deployment. * Maniacal Urgency: You understand that speed is our only edge. You thrive in the "chaos-to-order" phase of a startup. * Industrial Grit: You are comfortable spending time on the production floor in Germany to ensure your architecture survives the reality of a factory. * On-site: Ability to work in-person at our HQ in Zurich, Switzerland. WHAT WE OFFER * Mission: Rebuild Europe's industrial backbone. Not many software engineers get to work on manufacturing sovereignty. * Ownership: This is your stack. Architectural decisions are yours to make. * Team: "Special Forces" model. Everyone senior, everyone ships. No politics, no bureaucracy.
