Den formella befattningsbenämningen är BVKF Föreståndare, men rollen motsvarar i många verksamheter en kemikaliesamordnare, kemikaliesäkerhetsspecialist, HSE/EHS-specialist eller säkerhetsspecialist. Om rollen Som kemikaliesamordnare arbetar du både strategiskt och operativt med frågor som rör kemikaliehantering, brandfarliga varor, riskbedömningar och regelefterlevnad. Rollen fungerar som stöd till chefer och verksamhet i frågor som rör lagkrav, säker hantering och utveckling av rutiner och processer. Eftersom funktionen är under uppbyggnad kommer du tillsammans med din kollega att få en central roll i att etablera arbetssätt och styrning inom området.  Arbetet innebär även samverkan med verksamheter på flera orter inom regionen, vilket medför vissa resor. Arbetsuppgifter  Du kommer bland annat att: Utveckla och implementera rutiner, processer och styrande dokument inom kemikaliehantering och brandfarliga varor. Ge råd och stöd till chefer och medarbetare. Planera och genomföra utbildningar och informationsinsatser. Delta i utredningar, uppföljningar och förbättringsarbete. Vi söker dig som har: Relevant högskole- eller universitetsutbildning inom exempelvis kemi, miljö, arbetsmiljö, säkerhet, teknik eller annat område som arbetsgivaren bedömer relevant, alternativt motsvarande kompetens förvärvad genom arbetslivserfarenhet som arbetsgivaren bedömer likvärdig. Department of Crop Production Ecology Biology with a specialisation in ecology - The Department of Crop Production Ecology is seeking a PhD student in plant breeding and plant protection against insect pests. Description: Chemical insecticides have been an important tool for limiting crop losses caused by insect pests and insect-borne viruses, but their availability has declined sharply in recent years. Crop varieties with resistance, tolerance or other traits that enable them to avoid insect damage and viruses spread by insects will therefore be a cornerstone of future integrated pest management. The vision for the new project 'Node for Plant Breeding against Insect Pests and Viruses' within the centre SLU Grogrund is to reduce crop losses caused by pests and insect-borne viruses through crop breeding. The project focuses on insect pests and viruses in wheat, field beans, peas and sugar beet and is a collaboration between five departments at SLU and three plant breeding companies. We are seeking a highly motivated individual for a PhD position within the Node, focusing on the broad bean beetle (Bruchus rufimanus), a key pest of field bean. Infestations by the broad bean beetle pose an obstacle to developing field bean cultivation and a market for field beans for human consumption. The PhD programme comprises both research and coursework. The main tasks within the research component will be: Examine the insect's life cycle in the field and in storage Develop methods for screening of broad bean beetle infestations in a large panel of plant breeding material Contributing to the development of DNA markers for resistance or tolerance to broan bean beetle, for future application in plant breeding You will collaborate on the project with other PhD students and senior researchers in plant breeding, crop production, entomology, virology and genetics, as well as with the industry and other stakeholders, primarily Lantmännen and NordGen. Laboratory and field work is planned to be carried out at both SLU's campuses in Uppsala and Alnarp, as well as at NordGen in Alnarp. Field work at other locations in Sweden may also be included. Qualifications: Necessary qualifications: A second-cycle (MSc) degree in agronomy, horticulture, plant breeding, plant biology or a related field. Experience of statistical analysis of data. Evaluate treatment, purification, recycling, and waste management methods for Pb coolant, activated materials, and SNF, including contamination control and backend management considerations. We're looking for a passionate and driven Senior Manufacturing Scientist – Aseptic Processing to join our Manufacturing Science & Technology (MS&T) team in Uppsala and play a critical role in ensuring the robustness, compliance, and continuous improvement of our aseptic manufacturing processes. About the Role You serve as the site's subject matter expert for aseptic manufacturing and contamination control, providing scientific and technical leadership across critical aseptic operations. You work cross-functionally to support routine operations, troubleshoot complex process challenges, lead investigations, and drive continuous improvement. A key part of the role is leading the site's media fill program and contamination control strategy, and ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory expectations, including EU GMP Annex 1 and global health authority requirements. Key Responsibilities Provide scientific oversight and technical expertise across aseptic manufacturing operations, including compounding, filtration, and filling processes. Lead the site's media fill / Aseptic Process Simulation (APS) program: design, execution, evaluation, reporting, and timely CAPA implementation to strengthen sterility assurance. Lead and support the Contamination Control Strategy (CCS) through scientific risk assessments spanning facility design, HVAC, environmental monitoring, cleaning and disinfection, and aseptic practices. Lead complex deviation investigations, root cause analyses, and CAPA activities related to aseptic processes. Design and evaluate smoke studies to verify airflow performance and first-air protection. Act as a trusted SME in audits, inspections, technology transfers, process improvements, and the implementation of new manufacturing technologies. The role is based at Galderma's production site in Uppsala and requires on-site presence up to four days per week. Your Profile You're a curious, proactive, and scientifically minded professional who enjoys solving complex challenges and driving improvement in highly regulated manufacturing environments. Qualifications Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline, with several years of experience in a biopharmaceutical or other highly regulated manufacturing environment. Strong expertise in aseptic processing, contamination control, media fills, and sterility assurance principles within GMP-regulated operations. Experience with EU GMP, Annex 1 requirements, and regulatory expectations for sterile manufacturing. Proven track record leading deviation investigations, root cause analyses, and CAPA implementation. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.
