Ryggmärgsskadeenheten vid Skånes universitetssjukhus (Sus) är en av Sveriges främsta aktörer inom ryggmärgsskadevård och rehabilitering. Vi har av Socialstyrelsen fått det stora förtroendet att verka som en av fyra nationellt högspecialiserade enheter och har utökat vår verksamhet för att ta emot fler patienter, från en större del av landet. Teamet träffas flera gånger i veckan för att tillsammans med patienten diskutera hur rehabiliteringen fortskrider och se över aktuella mål. Vi arbetar för en hög personaltäthet för att kunna möta patientens behov av rehabilitering. Patricia arbetar som sjuksköterska på avdelningen beskriver arbetet så här, - Vi har mycket tid för våra patienter vilket ger goda möjligheter för både patienten och dess anhöriga att anpassa sig till sina nya förutsättningar. Som sjuksköterska hos oss är det viktigt att ge patienten kunskap och verktyg om sin skada för att öka delaktigheten i beslut som rör patientens hälsa och välbefinnande. Your Workplace The Department of Imaging and Functional Diagnostics in Värmland is a dynamic and technically advanced unit that includes radiology, mammography and clinical physiology. Radiology departments are located in five towns across Värmland: Karlstad, Torsby, Arvika, Kristinehamn, and Säffle. As a radiologist in Värmland you will be part of a team consisting of 25 specialists/consultants and 15 resident doctors across the county. The operations are jointly organized with an overarching manager, scheduler, and coordinator, providing excellent conditions for collaboration and knowledge exchange. In Torsby, there is one consultant radiologist and two residents, but all staff collaborate closely regardless of their primary workplace. At Torsby Hospital, the department operates around the clock, handling both emergency and elective examinations. The imaging equipment in Torsby includes a CT scanner, MRI scanner, fluoroscopy unit, general X-ray lab, and ultrasound lab. There is close proximity between different departments and a strong sense of teamwork among radiology staff, clinical departments, and the emergency unit. Torsby Hospital is known for its strong team spirit and close collaboration between departments, where your expertise truly makes a difference for patients. About the position As a radiologist in Torsby, you will work broadly within general radiology, conducting image interpretation and examinations in conventional X-ray, computed tomography (CT), and ultrasound. Experience in MRI is considered an advantage. Your responsibilities include participation in clinical rounds, multidisciplinary conferences (MDTs), continuing education, and supervision of residents and rotating colleagues. On-call duties during evenings and weekends are part of the position. In Värmland, there are three on-call tiers for radiologists: primary on-call, secondary on-call, and remote on-call, enabling a flexible and sustainable schedule. During nighttime, external reporting is handled through Teleconsult, both on weekdays and weekends. Your primary placement is in Torsby, but work at other hospitals in the region may be possible upon agreement. Remote work is possible when operational needs allow. We use Sectra RIS/PACS and have county-wide worklists that promote close collegial collaboration and flexibility among radiologists throughout the region. Your Skills and Qualifications We are looking for someone with a Swedish medical license and specialist certification in radiology. Experience in conventional X-ray, CT, and ultrasound, as well as basic skills in ultrasound-guided interventions, is required. Experience in MRI is considered an advantage. About Paloma In 2024, our founders, Mark and Darshak, were shocked to find that children needing an NHS autism or ADHD assessment were waiting 4-10 years for these assessments. Delayed assessments result in children being more likely to develop mental health conditions and fall behind in education. Furthermore, the much-needed pre/post-assessment support (outside of ADHD medications) is typically not funded by the NHS. These long waits have built up due to increased recognition and understanding of neurodevelopmental conditions and a lack of investment and innovation within the NHS to meet the growing demand. Mark and Darshak, with their 25 years of combined NHS experience, including building services that have treated over 1,000,000 patients in obesity & ophthalmology, founded Paloma to change this. Our mission is to make NHS autism and ADHD assessments and care accessible within 4 weeks of a GP referral, and, in turn, help every child achieve their potential. As of May 2026, we have successfully reduced waits to 3 months by; * Taking a product-first approach to redesign the care pathway to give families a more consumer-like experience of care * Our in-house product, engineering and AI team building our own autism and ADHD specific electronic patient record and AI documentation tool to free clinicians from their significant documentation burden to re-focus on supporting families * Investing in expanding the clinician workforce and upskilling them in new ways of working. The Opportunity Paloma Health has developed a new gold-standard autism assessment pathway and our own Patient Record software system, which allows us to offer: * An exceptional service and timely assessments, as well as clear strengths and needs-based outcomes, regardless of whether an autism diagnosis is made. * High assessor role satisfaction by improving the experience of delivering assessments. For example, we are building an AI tool to streamline diagnostic report writing, which we know is a pressure of the role. About you You are a registered nurse, speech and language therapist, occupational therapist, social worker or practitioner psychologist skilled in ADOS assessments. Responsibilities: * Conduct high-quality child observations as part of an autism assessment. * Act in accordance with our Safeguarding Policy, including conducting a risk assessment where necessary. * Keep up to date with mandatory training and your professional qualification requirements, including CPD. We are looking for a new Field and Service support Manager. You will be responsible for the Repair Service delivered by BSH technicians in the Field and Service planning/Dispatching for the Field support team. Your Tasks: Define and implement the Repair Service strategy in your team, creating a harmonized Repair Service organization that operates and is monitored consistently.
