About the Role – Lifting Coordinator As a Lifting Coordinator, you will play a key role in the project's production team. We would like you to have: Experience working with mobile cranes, crawler cranes, and other lifting equipment. The ability to independently plan, assess risks, and coordinate lifting operations safely and effectively. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and safety regulations. Experience in planning, supervision, and technical decision-making. Strong attention to detail, a high degree of independence, and good teamwork skills. We are looking for Crane Operators for a construction project in Boden, Sweden. Contract and package Contract: 10 months, with possible extension Accommodation: Provided on site Flights: Covered PPE/EPI: Covered Salary: Hourly wage, based on hours worked Role The Crane Operator will operate lifting equipment on site, from the ground or from the cabin, and support safe material handling operations according to site instructions, safety rules and quality requirements. Main tasks Prepare the crane before starting work, including unblocking, stabilization and safety checks. Check the general condition of the lifting equipment before use. Access the cabin safely and use harnesses when required. Test communication and transmission systems before operation. Operate the crane from the ground or from the cabin. Position the hook/block and sling loads safely. Read, interpret and use tower crane load charts. Support concreting, prefabricated element handling, formwork operations and other lifting tasks. Carry out routine maintenance such as greasing, brake checks and cable checks. Detect simple faults and report or repair basic issues when possible. Follow all health, safety, quality and environmental rules on site. Requirements Experience as a Crane Operator is required. Valid crane licence/certification is required. CACES GMA/GME or equivalent crane certification is desirable. Experience operating tower cranes from the ground or cabin is desirable. Help operate one of Europe’s most advanced scientific facilities. The European Spallation Source (ESS) is one of the largest science and technology infrastructure projects being built today. About the role: We are looking to build up our team of Operators to join our Remote Handling (RH) Group. The RH Group plays a key role in operating, maintaining, and developing the equipment used for transferring and processing radioactive components and waste within the ESS Active Cells Facility (our environment for handling radioactive components safely) using specialised Cask Assemblies. You will work with highly specialised remote handling systems, heavy lifting equipment, Virtual Reality-supported operations, and complex electromechanical systems in a unique radioactive waste handling and maintenance environment. We are building the rails for the next generation of commerce, where stablecoins move at the speed of the internet. Through Stripe Treasury, we enable businesses to hold dollar-denominated balances, settle cross-border transactions instantly, and bridge the gap between traditional fiat and blockchain networks like Tempo. You will create intuitive interfaces for businesses to manage their digital currencies while orchestrating complex cross-border flows. You’ll utilize a broad set of product design skills, from high-fidelity UI design to complex system mapping, to ensure that while the backend infrastructure (smart contracts, multi-chain settlement) is complex, the user experience remains as simple and reliable as traditional Stripe payments. RESPONSIBILITIES * Own the end-to-end product design process from discovery through delivery. * Design seamless on-ramp and off-ramp experiences that allow businesses to move between fiat (ACH, SEPA) and stablecoin rails (Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, Base). * Build the workflows for businesses to launch their own coins, manage reserve ratios, and track real-time liquidity and rewards. * Collaborate with engineering, product, and other stakeholders to shape the team’s roadmap and goals from an impactful and measurable customer outcomes perspective.
