The department The department consists of approximately 30 employees, including 15 radiographers, radiologists, assistant nurses and medical physicists. The unit operates in recently renovated facilities with newly upgraded CT, conventional X-ray, ultrasound and fluoroscopy equipment. An MRI replacement is planned. Both acute and elective imaging are performed. The department collaborates closely with primary care, inpatient services, the emergency department, private healthcare providers, and other radiology units within the county. This ensures a varied and clinically broad workload. Several radiographers have previously been internationally recruited and are now well established locally with their families, contributing to a supportive and inclusive working environment. The hospital serves approximately 27,000 inhabitants locally and around 39,000 in the wider catchment area. The role The position includes standard duties as a licensed radiographer, primarily within: Conventional radiography CT MRI (may become part of responsibilities over time) You will work with both emergency and planned examinations. Your Workplace The Department of Imaging and Functional Diagnostics in Värmland is a dynamic and technically advanced unit that includes radiology, mammography and clinical physiology. Radiology departments are located in five towns across Värmland: Karlstad, Torsby, Arvika, Kristinehamn, and Säffle. As a radiologist in Värmland you will be part of a team consisting of 25 specialists/consultants and 15 resident doctors across the county. The operations are jointly organized with an overarching manager, scheduler, and coordinator, providing excellent conditions for collaboration and knowledge exchange. In Torsby, there is one consultant radiologist and two residents, but all staff collaborate closely regardless of their primary workplace. At Torsby Hospital, the department operates around the clock, handling both emergency and elective examinations. About the position As a radiologist in Torsby, you will work broadly within general radiology, conducting image interpretation and examinations in conventional X-ray, computed tomography (CT), and ultrasound. Experience in MRI is considered an advantage. Your responsibilities include participation in clinical rounds, multidisciplinary conferences (MDTs), continuing education, and supervision of residents and rotating colleagues. On-call duties during evenings and weekends are part of the position. Main Responsibilities: • HSSE Management System: Develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the company’s HSSE management system, standards, procedures, and work instructions. • Risk Management: Lead and support risk assessments, ALARP reviews, bow-tie assessments, hazard identification, and the implementation of effective risk controls. • Contractor HSSE Management: Support contractor selection, pre-qualification, onboarding, performance monitoring, assurance activities, and the management of high-risk contracts. • Incident Management: Lead or support incident reporting, investigation, root-cause analysis, corrective action tracking, and organizational learning. • Road & Transport Safety: Support journey management, driver safety, transport risk assessments, route planning, and road-safety improvement initiatives. • Auditing & Assurance: Plan and conduct HSSE inspections, audits, assurance reviews, and compliance assessments, and follow up agreed improvement actions. • Performance Monitoring: Develop and maintain HSSE KPIs, dashboards, reports, and trend analyses to support management decision-making and continuous improvement. • Training & Safety Culture: Deliver and coordinate HSSE training, awareness sessions, safety leadership activities, and employee engagement initiatives. HSSE Specialist • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments, contractors, clients, authorities, and external stakeholders to achieve common HSSE objectives. • Continuous Improvement: Identify improvement opportunities, share lessons learned and good practices, and support the implementation of practical and sustainable solutions. Requirements: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or another relevant discipline, combined with recognized professional HSSE qualifications. • Professional Qualifications: NEBOSH qualification or equivalent occupational health and safety certification. • Experience: Extensive professional experience within HSSE, preferably in oil and gas, energy, industrial operations, engineering, infrastructure, manufacturing, or another high-risk industry. • Leadership Experience: Proven experience leading HSSE activities, influencing management, and coordinating employees and contractors across multiple locations. • HSSE Management Systems: Strong knowledge of HSSE management systems, risk management, incident investigation, auditing, emergency response, and operational assurance. • Risk Assessment: Practical experience with hazard identification, ALARP, bow-tie analysis, journey management, and the development of risk-control measures. • Contractor Management: Experience supporting contractor HSSE qualification, mobilization, audits, performance reviews, and improvement planning. • Auditing: Qualified or experienced Lead Auditor, with the ability to conduct structured audits, inspections, and compliance reviews. • Digital Fluency: Comfortable using digital reporting tools, databases, dashboards, and Microsoft Office applications to manage and communicate HSSE information. • Languages: Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Meritorious: • Proficiency in Swedish is considered an advantage. • Experience from oil and gas, energy, automotive, manufacturing, engineering, construction, or other complex operational environments. • Experience working within an international organization or a multinational company. • Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, IOGP guidance, or similar recognized management-system standards. • Experience leading improvement projects, safety-culture programmes, or cross-functional HSSE initiatives. • Experience working with multiple sites, projects, employees, and contractors. Role Overview As Night Duty Manager at Louma, you will take responsibility for the safe, smooth and professional operation of the estate during evening and overnight hours. Acting as the senior leader on site, you will ensure the highest standards of guest service, security, safety and operational readiness are maintained throughout the night. This role requires a calm, proactive and highly responsible individual who can confidently manage guest requests, oversee site safety, coordinate departments where required and respond effectively to incidents or operational needs. As an ambassador for Louma, you will ensure every guest continues to experience the warmth, care and attention to detail that defines our hospitality. Key Responsibilities * Oversee the safe and smooth operation of the estate during evening and overnight hours, acting as the senior manager on duty. * Maintain oversight of site security including locking procedures, monitoring guest and contractor access and ensuring the estate remains secure. * Conduct overnight operational checks including building inspections, safety checks and readiness for the following day’s operations. * Respond promptly and professionally to guest enquiries, requests and concerns during overnight hours. * Manage late arrivals, early departures and overnight guest assistance where required. * Prepare invoices and process guest payments in accordance with financial procedures. * Maintain accurate reporting and administrative records through the Property Management System, POS and CRM platforms. * Ensure compliance with all financial procedures including cash handling, stock usage and operational resource management. * Support the Head of Food & Beverage with stock control, procurement preparation and operational tasks to support daytime operations. * Provide out-of-hours Food & Beverage service where required, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, allergen procedures and operational SOPs. * Maintain clean, safe and presentable public areas and dining spaces when guests continue to enjoy them later into the evening, ensuring compliance with alcohol licensing regulations. * Ensure guest areas, entrances and estate facilities remain clean, safe and presentable throughout the night. * Support housekeeping preparations where required and assist with room readiness for early arrivals. * Maintain oversight of the Wellness Barn and associated facilities, ensuring safe operation including pool plant monitoring where required. * Support early opening or late closure of wellness facilities when guest demand requires, following all operational SOPs. * Maintain control of access and use of estate facilities to ensure the safety of guests, team members and third parties. * Lead and coordinate emergency procedures including First Aid response, fire procedures and evacuation if required. * Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety policies, SOPs, RAMS and GDPR requirements across all overnight operations. * Provide clear and structured handover communication to the morning management team following night shifts. * Support other departments where required to ensure smooth overnight operations across the estate.
