Här får du en nyckelroll som markmiljöspecialist med ansvar för att tillföra teknisk och miljömässig expertis i hur jord- och bergmaterial hanteras i kommunens samhällsbyggnadsprojekt.  DIN ROLL  Som markmiljöspecialist inom masshantering har du en kvalificerad och sakkunnig roll där du bidrar med specialistkompetens i planering och genomförande av hantering av jord- och bergmaterial samt fungerar som tekniskt stöd i frågor som rör mark, miljö och hantering av jord- och bergmaterial.  Du arbetar både strategiskt och operativt och bidrar med expertis genom hela processen – från tidiga utredningar och planering till genomförande och uppföljning i kommunens samhällsbyggnadsprojekt. Rollen innebär ett nära samarbete med projektledare, koordinatorer, exploateringsingenjörer, entreprenörer och myndigheter.  Du är en viktig del i att säkerställa att kommunens hantering av jord- och bergmaterial sker på ett korrekt, säkert och resurseffektivt sätt, med hänsyn till både miljökrav, geotekniska förutsättningar och samhällsbyggnadsprojektens behov.  Ditt arbete omfattar bland annat att:  göra tekniska och miljömässiga bedömningar av jord- och bergmaterial.   arbeta med klassificering, hantering och riskbedömning av jord- och bergmaterial, inklusive förorenade massor  stödja projekt i frågor kopplade till markmiljö, geoteknik och masshantering  tillämpa relevant miljölagstiftning samt ta fram anmälnings- och tillståndshandlingar på egen hand eller med stöd av konsult  ta fram tekniska underlag och bedömningar som stöd för beslut i projekt och planering.  bidra i utveckling av riktlinjer, arbetssätt och strategier för hållbar och cirkulär masshantering  samarbeta med interna funktioner och externa aktörer i tekniska och miljörelaterade frågor  arbeta med utredning och analys kopplat till förorenad mark samt i samverkan med miljöavdelningen och länsstyrelsen identifiera och initiera vidare hantering av områden där ansvar saknas, inklusive undersökning, riskbedömning och åtgärd  genomföra provtagning med efterföljande provhantering och databasuppbyggnad med resultat    Kort sagt:  Du ser till att rätt jord- och bergmaterial hanteras på rätt sätt, med rätt förutsättningar för att bli en resurs i framtidens samhällsbyggande.  DIN KOMPETENS OCH ERFARENHET  Vi söker dig som har en högskoleutbildning inom miljöteknik, geoteknik, samhällsbyggnad, miljö- och hälsoskydd eller annan utbildning som arbetsgivaren bedömer relevant. Du har erfarenhet av arbete med markmiljöfrågor eller hantering av jord- och bergmaterial i samhällsbyggnadsprojekt.  Du har god kunskap om miljöbalken och tillhörande regelverk samt erfarenhet av miljötekniska bedömningar, riskbedömningar eller liknande arbete i projektmiljö. Erfarenhet av arbete med förorenad mark och tillstånds- eller anmälningsärenden är meriterande.  Det är även meriterande med erfarenhet av större samhällsbyggnadsprojekt samt om du är certifierad för provtagning av mark och vatten.  Du har god förmåga att uttrycka dig i svenska i tal och skrift samt goda kunskaper i engelska. What you will do As EoR for the Somincor TSF, you will work with facilities in different stages of their lifecycle. The Somincor TSF is in operation, but plans are being put in place to expand it to meet increased Lif of Mine storage requirement. You will therefore oversee design, construction, operation and the path to safe closure for the facilities. You will ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards, including the Global Industry Standard on Tailings Management (GISTM). Your responsibilities include documenting engineering decisions, facilitating risk management implementation, reviewing and approving designs and construction documentation, and ensuring that monitoring and surveillance programs are implemented and effective. You will work closely with operations, environmental teams, senior leadership, as well as external consultants such as Designers of Record, third‑party reviewers, the Independent Tailings Review Board (ITRB), Independent Reviewers (IR), and regulatory authorities. You will also contribute to broader site-wide initiatives such as permitting, Life of Mine planning, and closure planning for the facilities. As part of the Sustainability staff, you will support the development of governance frameworks, provide technical guidance, and ensure high-quality documentation and reporting. This role is critical in ensuring safe and sustainable tailings management and directly supports Boliden’s commitment to responsible mining. What you bring A geotechnical or civil engineer with extensive experience in tailings and mine waste management or dam engineering. A strong background in geotechnical engineering, hydrology and dam safety, ideally with experience as Lead Designer, Designer of Record or Engineer of Record. The department has a strong experimental and applied profile, supported by well-equipped laboratories and close collaboration with industry. The Division of Mining and Geotechnical Engineering conducts research and education in rock mechanics, mining engineering, and geotechnical engineering, with a strong focus on the safe, efficient, and sustainable design of underground and surface excavations. The division works closely with industry to address practical engineering challenges and develop solutions for future mining and infrastructure projects.   Subject description   Mining and Rock Engineering comprises mining technology, rock engineering and rock mechanics, including rock mass properties, design of rock excavations and tunneling as well as planning and production processes related to both mining and civil engineering.   Project description   As underground mining operations at LKAB continue to greater depths, the rock mass is subjected to increasingly high in-situ stresses and dynamic disturbances, leading to elevated risks of seismic events and rockburst damage. There is therefore a growing need for improved understanding of ground support performance under both static and dynamic loading conditions.   This project aims to develop a mechanism-based and site-adapted framework for ground support design, focusing on energy absorption, deformation capacity, and system-level behaviour. The research will integrate laboratory testing, numerical modelling, and field observations from deep underground mines.   The expected outcomes include improved understanding of support performance, development of evaluation methodologies, and optimized support system design tailored to LKAB's mining conditions.   Duties   As a PhD student, you will conduct both field data analysis and numerical research within the project. Your work will include: Development and application of numerical models for ground support systems (e.g. bolts, mesh, shotcrete, and rock mass interaction) Analysis and interpretation of laboratory testing results, including static and dynamic performance of support elements Participation in the design and evaluation of ground support systems for deep underground mining Collaboration with industry partners and integration of field data into research Dissemination of research results through scientific publications and conferences Most of your working time will be devoted to your own research studies. They solve complex problems and use discipline-specific knowledge to improve their products or services. The CSA/UG Field Engineer impacts a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities with the site team and other related teams and ensures that they work within the appropriate guidelines and policies. Role & Responsibilities Acts as experience field engineer at the construction site in Boden, Sweden. Solves technical queries independently. Lead technical discussions with site personnel and subcontractors. Apply knowledge and skills to a wide range of standard and nonstandard situations. Prepare clear and accurate detailed design calculations and analyses, including design reports and procedures. Manage own time to meet agreed deadlines and budgets and develop plans for short-term work activities in own area. Communicate and explain complex issues and work to establish understanding. Initiate interface with other disciplines to obtain input for discipline designs. Understands details and layouts of all underground services. Västlänken – en cirka åtta kilometer lång dubbelspårig järnväg för pendel och regiontåg, varav drygt sex kilometer går i tunnel under centrala Göteborg. Projektet innefattar tre nya underjordiska stationer vid Göteborgs central, Haga och Korsvägen, och knyter ihop järnvägsspåren norr och söder om staden så att tåg slipper vända vid Göteborgs central. Etapp Centralen beräknas öppna för trafik 2026, medan etapperna Haga och Korsvägen färdigställs 2029–2032. Pilekrogen – nya uppställningsspår för lokal- och regionaltåg i Mölndal, för att avlasta spåren runt Göteborgs Central. Produktionsstart 2026, klart 2028/2029.
