NCC Green Industry Transformation – Project in Gällivare Sweden is facing a historic transformation as industry shifts toward a more sustainable future. In northern Sweden, some of the most extensive industrial investments of modern times are underway, and we are now looking for a Construction Supervisor who wants to play a key role in one of our complex projects. In close collaboration with LKAB, NCC is delivering one of the region’s most significant projects: the construction of the new ore sorting plant in Vitåfors, Gällivare. Work is already well underway and forms a central part of the transition to a more sustainable mining and steel industry. The new facility is being built adjacent to the existing plant and will cover approximately 24,000 square meters, where extensive earthworks, foundation works, and concrete construction activities are currently being carried out. About the Role: Construction Supervisor As a Construction Supervisor, you will play a central role in project execution. You will be responsible for leading, planning, and monitoring activities within your area of responsibility while ensuring that production progresses according to plan. Job Scope High level purpose of function. Execution of electrical maintenance in the factory to deliver our targets of reliability, cost and safety. Key Responsibilities Overall areas of responsibilities and activities Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to) · Interface with operators, technicians and other production personnel to understand and communicate improvements that needs to be done and has been done. · Install, maintain and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems. · Read technical diagrams and blueprints. · Perform general electrical maintenance. · Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components. · Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate of testing devices. · Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures. · Contribute in maintenance program optimization. · Train others in maintenance specific tasks. · Evaluation of needed spare parts of the equipment. · Together with the rest of the team, being a key player to develop and maintain a safe work environment. · Accountability/Authorization · Budget responsibility: no · Direct reports: no · Authorized to decide on investments according to role and policy Requirements Educational background and previous experience required for the role. A bit about the role As a Mechanic at Stegra, you’ll be part of the Mechanical Maintenance team and support the daily operation of production and industrial equipment. Relevant vocational education in mechanics, maintenance, or a related technical field — or equivalent practical experience. Good understanding of workplace safety standards and safe maintenance practices. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Willingness to work shifts when required. Good knowledge of English; Swedish is a plus. Som operatör, tar du emot gods, registrerar det som inkommande, kontrollerar vilken ytbehandling godset skall ha och talar om för Produktionsplaneraren vad som har kommit in. Du hänger och säkrar det gods om skall köras i line, arbetar aktivt i line. As an Operator with us, you work with different tasks, where everyone must be able to handle everything for the different stations. We train continuously on site with a basic training that generates a Certificate. There is also the possibility of further training We work as a team together towards the same goal. Each team consists of 4-6 people For this role, knowledge and experience of being an Operator, industrial worker, experience in quality inspection, preferably in the metal surface treatment industry is required. You are responsible for the goods meeting the company's policy on quality and quantity when delivered to the customer. In order to succeed in the profession, you need to be meticulous, stress-resistant and good at following instructions and working in a team. You must be able to participate in planning the day's flow for which details are to be processed and in which order.
