Om rollen Som Servicetekniker ansvarar du för reparation, felsökning och förebyggande underhåll av våra maskiner och utrustning. Arbetet sker både på vårt servicecenter i Söderköping och ute hos våra kunder. Du kommer även att stötta kunder vid leverans av maskiner och bidra till en hög servicenivå i alla kundkontakter. Rollen innebär stort eget ansvar i planering och genomförande av arbeten, i nära dialog med din teamleader. Du samarbetar med eftermarknad och sälj för att skapa bästa möjliga kundupplevelse. Du dokumenterar och rapporterar utfört arbete i våra system och bidrar till att utveckla både arbetssätt och kundrelationer. Vem är du? Vi söker dig som trivs i en roll med mycket kundkontakt och som motiveras av att lösa tekniska problem. Du är självgående, ansvarstagande och har förmågan att prioritera ditt arbete effektivt. Du är flexibel, serviceinriktad och har en god förståelse för kundens behov av snabb och kvalitativ service. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain existing and new mechanical and mechatronic products for automotive applications. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions for future products. Create and develop designs using Creo Parametric. Design components in plastic and metal for manufacturing processes such as injection molding, casting, stamping, milling, and turning. Contribute to the full product development lifecycle, from concept through implementation and continuous improvement. Take ownership of engineering tasks and ensure projects are completed successfully and on time. Work with both internal and external stakeholders, including customers, to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions. Support product development through technical analysis, problem-solving, and design optimization. What We Are Looking For Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in mechanical design and product development. Strong proficiency in Creo Parametric. Experience designing plastic and metal components for manufacturing, including injection molding and casting. Knowledge of stamped, machined, milled, and turned components. Experience in automotive and mechatronic systems is highly desirable. Knowledge of internal combustion engines, PDM systems, and model-based simulation is considered an advantage. A Snapshot of Your Day Join our innovative team as a Combustion Engineer and immerse yourself in the world of cutting-edge combustion technology. As a Combustion Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the performance, reliability, and environmental compliance of our gas turbine combustion systems. Your work will span the full product lifecycle, from supporting new technology development to resolving operational challenges across our global fleet. A typical day may include planning and conducting combustion tests, analysing test and field data, evaluating emission performance, and collaborating with experts in design, controls, service, and product support. You will investigate combustion-related issues, identify root causes, and help implement solutions that improve reliability, fuel flexibility, and operational performance. Working at the forefront of combustion technology, you will contribute to the ongoing transition toward lower-emission power generation, including the integration of hydrogen and other sustainable fuels. The role offers a combination of hands-on engineering, technical problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration, providing opportunities to make a tangible impact on both current products and future technologies. How You’ll Make an Impact Plan and execute combustion testing, analyse test and operational data, and troubleshoot field issues to improve performance, emissions, reliability, and fuel flexibility across both new developments and the existing fleet. Support the development, validation, and optimization of combustion technologies for current and future products. Collaborate with colleagues across Design, Controls, Performance, Service, and Product Support to deliver effective technical solutions. Following onboarding and experience building in the role, you will also take part in an occasional planned support rotation. The rotation occurs infrequently, typically less than once per month, and may involve daytime support during weekends. What You Bring You Either have experience in hot gas turbine commissioning, Emission tuning or have an academic background with a degree in Experimental Combustion, Fluid Dynamics or Chemical Engineering. Preferably Proven experience in combustion engineering and a deep understanding of combustion principles and technologies. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Proficiency in English; Swedish is a plus.
