As part of a planned succession, we are now looking for an inspiring and commercially driven Managing Director Nordic to lead one of the STIHL Group's most important sales organizations. Your mission As Managing Director Nordic, you will have full P&L responsibility for the Nordic organization, with overall accountability for business performance, commercial growth, marketing and market development across Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. In order for us to do so we need you on this great journey with us! We are now looking for an Algorithm developer who has a passion within the field of software development and an interest in the future of battery development. The position isa fixed term contract for 6 months with start September-october, based in Huskvarna. Your role You will be a part of our team that develop embedded software for Husqvarna batteries. The team works within the whole spectra of software engineering - Specification, Design, Implementation, Test and Documentation. The code is written in C and the test cases in C++. The batteries are used in the whole range of products and the organizational aim is to bring intelligent power to future products. You will be working close to passionate colleagues that are experts within their respective fields. Through collaboration, within the team and together with our stakeholders, you will aim to find best possible value for our products. The collaboration is done over functions and divisions. In your daily work you will move between the local team and global suppliers and partners. By being a part of this team, you will see and be a part of the whole product development chain, from idea to end customer within your segment. Your role is to continue develop our algorithms, such as State of Charge etc., used in the batteries. About you To fit in this role you should have the following qualifications: M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Software Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or Applied Physics with focus on algorithms. Experience in C/C++, Python and/or Matlab/Simulink is a must Relevant experience is a must. Experience in software engineering is meritorious. Experience in batteries or applications using batteries is meritorious. Proficiency in English is a must. Proficiency in Swedish is meritorious. Job Summary This position reports to the Project Leader or Installation manager as immediate manager and in day-to-day work to the Arbetsledare/Supervisor. On-site or in-house servicing, repair and/or installation of company product(s). This job will include field support and installation of data cables, installation of cabinets, sensors, cameras, variable message signs, switches and other monitoring equipment installations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities · Follow supervisor’s directions for all tasks · Read and understand project documents such as plans and specifications · Support in overall installation and maintenance activities in the field of technical systems for metro, tunnel and road projects. · Installs equipment including but not limited to cameras, detectors, cabinets, switches, radio etc. · Installs pull boxes and conduit. · Installation of different types of cables, including pulling cable and installation of cable in conduits · Connect and terminates comms cables (UTP RJ45 for CAT5 and CAT6, coax) to equipment. · Overall support to testing team to verify devices’ functionality. · Execution of periodic maintenance activities for installed systems. · Prepares logs to keep track of field conditions and installation activities, daily journal (dagbok). · Assists Arbetsledare/Supervisor in various aspects related to installation works. · Other duties may be assigned. · Perform duties at multiple construction sites, simultaneously. Working Conditions and Physical Effort · This position involves work at a construction site (such as on and around roadways, tunnels, bridges) where duties will be performed both indoors and outdoors. · Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines · Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other business machines, as well as hand tools and power tools. · While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk; Use hands; Reach with hands and arms; Climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch. · The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up heavy equipment/materials. · Occasional nightwork may occur. · The employee must report daily activities via tools/software provided by the employer.
