För att lyckas i rollen krävs att du har följande kvalifikationer: Du har en kandidatexamen i fysik eller inom ett ingenjörsämne och/eller erfarenhet av drift av stora, komplexa anläggningar. Du har förmågan att ta initiativ för att lösa problem innan de uppstår och att ta fram lösningar som gör att våra acceleratorer fungerar smidigare. Du tycker om att programmera och är bekväm med att arbeta i Python. Du trivs med skiftarbete och är villig och kapabel att arbeta på kvällar, nätter och helger. Utmärkta kunskaper i engelska, både muntligt och skriftligt. Följande ses som meriterande Tidigare erfarenhet av drift av acceleratorer vid synkrotronanläggningar är en stor fördel. What you'll do: As a member of the CMS Safety Office, you will participate in all safety-related activities at the CMS experimental sites during the Long Shutdown 3, when both the detector and the infrastructure will undergo major upgrades. In particular, you will take a leading role in the technical review of all CMS fire extinguishing systems and safety monitoring systems to assess their design, coverage and suitability for the CMS upgrade. Experience: You currently work, and have demonstrated experience, as a professional firefighter in a public or company fire service.
