Om Kriminalvården Kriminalvården växer – vi bygger nytt, bygger om och bygger till och söker nu fler medarbetare. Vårt viktigaste mål är att minska återfall i brott – att bryta den onda cirkeln. Lyckas vi med det blir samhället tryggare och säkrare för alla. Vi är den myndighet som ansvarar för anstalter, frivård, häkten och klienttransporter. Verksamhetsområde Stockholm Väst i natursköna Ekerö kommun omfattar den öppna anstalten Svartsjö och den delvis öppna kvinnoanstalten Färingsö samt häktet Färingsö. Ett 170-tal medarbetare och tio chefer förvaltar, leder och utvecklar verksamheten som tar emot ca 270 intagna. Den största yrkesgruppen är kriminalvårdare men här arbetar även vårdprofessioner, administrativ personal, pedagoger, produktionsledare m fl. De intagna är sysselsatta med utbildning, olika behandlingsprogram eller trä- och hanverksindustri och förpackning/montage. De intagna driver också ett ekologiskt jordbruk med spannmålsodling och djurhållning. De båda anstalterna ligger ett stenkast från varandra och nås med buss eller bil. På båda anstalterna parkerar du kostnadsfritt på vår personalparkering. Arbetsuppgifter Som vakthavande befäl (VB) kommer du operativt leda och fördela det dagliga arbetet på anstalten/häktet i samråd med kriminalvårdsinspektörerna. I dina arbetsuppgifter ingår även bemanningsfrågor i form av korttidsrangering, där du säkerställer att vi har rätt antal medarbetare på rätt plats. Du kommer i detta arbete samarbeta med vårt centrala bemanningsteam. VB företräder arbetsgivaren och är en garanti för att chefslinjen bibehålls hela vägen ut till samtliga medarbetare. Arbetet är varierande och håller många gånger ett högt tempo. I rollen som VB på verksamhetsområde Sthlm Väst förankrar du tagna beslut, kommunicerar rakt och tydligt och bidrar till en trygg och effektiv arbetsmiljö. Några av de arbetsuppgifter befattningen innefattar är: att följa upp det dagliga säkerhetsarbetet och vid behov vidta åtgärder, skapa och utveckla system för uppföljning av dagliga säkerhetsinsatser, tillse att lagar, förordningar, föreskrifter och säkerhetsplanen följs. I övrigt kommer du biträda ledningen på Stockholm Väst i arbetet med systematiskt brandskydd, visitations- och urinprovsstrategi/uppföljning, lokala säkerhetsmöten, statistik, övningsverksamhet, säkerhetsplan m.m. Du utövar operativ arbetsledning utifrån verksamhetens behov, med transporter och säkerhetsarbete som särskilt prioriterade områden. Beslutsfattande sker enligt Kriminalvårdens regelverk. Vakthavande befäl utgör, utanför kontorstid, lokalt högsta operativa beslutsfattare under Kriminalvårdschef i beredskap. Inom verksamhetsområdet Stockholm Väst kommer totalt tio VB:s att arbeta, ett arbetslag om fem på anstalten Färingsö och ett arbetslag om fem på anstalten Svartsjö. Dessa tio VB kommer tillsammans att utgöra VO Stockholm Västs VB-grupp med gemensam chef. Gruppen kommer att arbeta nära ihop gällande rutiner och struktur och kommer att ersätta varandra vid t.ex. utbildning, semestrar eller annan frånvaro. Arbetet bedrivs enligt ett 5-veckors rotationsschema med dag-, natt- och helgtjänstgöring. Schemat omfattar sju nattpass under en femveckorsperiod och samtliga arbetspass är 12 timmar långa. För att trivas och lyckas i ditt uppdrag är det viktigt att du delar Kriminalvårdens grundläggande värderingar om en human människosyn, respekt för individen och tron på att människan är utvecklingsbar. Då du tillsammans med dina kollegor driver verksamheten behöver du ha god samarbetsförmåga och vara tydlig i din kommunikation. As Area Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the Water Treatment Plant area, leading delivery from construction through commissioning and handover.
