This role demands a deep technical expert who can bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution, leading a team of developers and guiding the overall solution strategy. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in IBM Sterling OMS, modern cloud-native architectures (AWS/Azure), and full-stack Java development . Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership & Strategy Lead the design, development, and customization of IBM Sterling OMS modules, including Web SOM, Web COM, and Call Center UI . Architect scalable, high-performance solutions, defining the technical roadmap and overseeing the delivery of complex OMS projects . Define and enforce best practices for development, customization, integration, and code quality, including conducting code reviews . Guide the team in translating functional requirements into detailed technical design documents and configuration specifications . Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all technical aspects of the Sterling OMS platform, providing guidance on complex business scenarios . Oversee the integration of Sterling OMS with external systems such as ERP (e.g., SAP), WMS (e.g., Blue Yonder), CRM, payment gateways, and e-commerce platforms . Build and maintain Java-based microservices and REST/SOAP APIs to support scalable order management and integration needs . Leverage cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) for deployment and management of applications . Manage and execute data migration, system configuration, and deployment processes . Team & Stakeholder Management Mentor and lead a team of 3-10 developers and engineers, both onshore and offshore, fostering a culture of technical excellence . Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, business analysts, QA, and DevOps, to ensure seamless delivery . Participate in client discussions, status reporting calls, and manage stakeholder expectations effectively . Production Support & Troubleshooting Oversee L2/L3 support, proactively monitoring production systems to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability . Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for high-impact production issues and implement permanent fixes . Provide off-hours support for critical production downtime and business-impacts . Required Skills & Qualifications Experience & Education Total Experience: 8+ years of overall experience in software development and IT, with a minimum of 4-6 years of hands-on experience specifically in IBM Sterling OMS . Ett Business Control-uppdrag kopplat till flera centrala gruppfunktioner (ex. Sourcing, Fastighet, CFO Office, Shared Service Finance, Legal/Staff samt NSS) ska flyttas över till en ny organisatorisk enhet inom kundens koncern. Inför överflytten behöver man göra en nulägesinventering av dagens arbete, exempelvis kring bokslut, uppföljning samt Business Plan och Forecast. The team is responsible for Coop’s E-commerce platform. This was the first project worldwide to go live on SAP Commerce Cloud (CCv2), SAP’s cloud-native architecture, and it continues to run on the latest available version. Ecom Ops is one of twelve product teams within the Domain - Digital Consumer Products, working cross-functional with digital development and maintenance.
