Job Scope High level purpose of function. A Vision Automation Engineer in a cell manufacturing company plays a key role in developing, optimizing, reverse-engineering, and maintaining machine vision and optical inspection systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. They are responsible for programming, troubleshooting, and improving cameras, lighting configurations, and image processing algorithms, supporting both legacy production line re-commissioning and new vision system installations. The role also includes ensuring accurate data transfer, system connectivity, and smooth communication with PLCs, SCADA, and upper-level MES platforms to enable inline defect traceability, dimensional inspection, and digital integration. Close collaboration with production, engineering, and maintenance teams is required to identify and implement solutions that improve quality, throughput, and equipment uptime. A strong focus is placed on continuous improvement, safety, and scalability to meet the growing demand for electric vehicle battery production. Key Responsibilities Overall areas of responsibilities and activities Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to) Participate in HAZOP sessions and ensure compliance with process safety, operational safety, and environmental standards relating to equipment control and programming. What you will do - Prepare, maintain, and update technical files and regulatory documentation in line with EU MDR and other applicable regulations. - Handle regulatory submissions (EU MDR) and manage lifecycle activities including updates and variations. - Support and maintain the quality management system (ISO 13485), including quality control documentation and records. - Review and assess design changes, labeling updates, and material changes for regulatory impact. - Collaborate with Quality Assurance and R&D teams to ensure technical documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready. - Prepare for and support audits and inspections by notified bodies and competent authorities. - Contribute to post-market surveillance activities and the preparation of related reports (e.g., PMCF, PSUR). - Monitor regulatory updates and implement necessary changes in technical files and quality documentation. Who you are - A practical and detail-oriented regulatory professional who enjoys working directly with technical files and documentation. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where you need to deliver concrete regulatory outputs. - Proactive in identifying compliance gaps and implementing practical solutions. - Clear communicator who can work effectively with Quality, R&D, and external auditors. What you have - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field. - At least 2 years of ,hands-on regulatory affairs experience, in the medical device industry. - Solid experience preparing and maintaining, technical files, and working within a quality management system (ISO 13485). - Good knowledge of EU MDR requirements and regulatory submissions. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing documentation and multiple tasks. - Proficiency in English (written and spoken). Nice to have: - Experience with post-market surveillance and clinical evaluation reports. - Familiarity with US FDA 510(k) or UK MDR submissions. - Previous involvement in audits or inspections. About the Role As a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering full lifecycle commissioning services for critical facilities and complex mechanical infrastructure systems. You will support the planning, coordination, execution, testing, and verification of mission-critical mechanical systems while ensuring compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting and executing commissioning activities throughout the project lifecycle. Participating in the MEP design review process. About You We are looking for an experienced and driven professional who combines strong technical expertise with excellent communication and collaboration skills. You bring: A Bachelor´s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience. At least 5 years of experience in mechanical commissioning within critical environments. Hands-on experience with installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of heavy mechanical systems. Extensive knowledge of chilled water distribution systems and commercial HVAC systems. Experience with:HVAC cooling systems Chillers and cooling towers AHUs and fan coil units Process water systems and treatment Humidification systems Fuel transfer systems Smoke extraction and pressurization systems Building Management Systems (BMS) SCADA, PLC and EPMS systems Experience interpreting operational data such as temperature and humidity trends. Understanding of communication protocols including BACnet, Modbus, and Ethernet. Experience working within mission-critical facilities and data center environments.
