Säkerställa att våra initiativ och projekt inom social hållbarhet kan utvärderas och följas upp. Initiera och underhålla samarbeten med aktörer och organisationer som vi kan samverka med i våra utsatta områden. Skellefteå municipality is the needs owner and participates through the departments of Water & Wastewater and the Streets, providing a real test bed. Recent research will be the starting point where an existing model will be developed further to optimise the strategic asset management and coordination based on economic, environmental and other societal criteria. You will belong to a research team with researchers from our university as well as external researchers from the research institute RISE which are experts in policy-lab methodology. The work within the project includes development of an existing Python model and collection of asset management data of municipal infrastructure. Together with other researchers in the team, you will design workshops to be carried out with municipal partners to understand the present routines of coordinating asset management of multiutility infrastructures and be able to develop tools to support their work. Duties As a PhD student, you will collect asset management data, develop a Python model and be involved in workshops. You will learn how to collect and analyse scientific data within your research area as well as communicate your results at national and international conferences and in scientific journals. Most of your working time will be devoted to your own research studies, including both research and mandatory and elective course work. Your mission at Voi As part of our Street Patrol Team, you will be out on the streets making sure that our scooters are ready for use in a user- and environment-friendly way. You will: * Write and edit persuasive, high-quality responses to RFIs, RFPs, ITTs, demos and presentations, tailored to each city's priorities, evaluation criteria and local context. * Develop the content structure for each tender: deciding how to present our narrative for different markets, languages and requirements, based on the win themes agreed with the team. * Work closely with local teams and partners to produce fit-for-purpose drafts that reflect local nuance, including writing or adapting content in non-English markets. * Apply Voi's tone of voice and writing standards consistently throughout every submission, clear, confident and human. * Review, proofread and refine contributions from subject-matter experts across Markets, Policy, Finance, R&D, Legal and Commercial, translating technical input into crisp, compelling language. * Finalise and quality-check all documentation for each tender stage, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance with submission requirements. * Contribute to and maintain our tender content library: keeping our bank of reusable answers, evidence and narratives up to date and improving with every submission. * Collaborate with our tender designer to ensure content and visuals work together to tell a strong, consistent Voi story. * Apply learnings from tender feedback and scoring outcomes to improve the quality and persuasiveness of future responses. Department of Soil and Environment A 2-years postdoc position is available in the Soil and Environmental Physics group at the Department of Soil and Environment, Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), in Uppsala. We are looking for a researcher fascinated by the interactions of ecological, biogeochemical, and physical processes that shape the responses of the carbon cycle to global change and the implementation of these interactions into soil and ecosystem models. Depending on the selected candidate, the research project can focus on statistical analysis of literature data, process-based modelling, or a combination of the two. About us The Department of Soil and Environment is a leading soil research institution, both nationally and internationally. Our research focuses on fundamental soil properties and processes, as well as how soil functions are affected by changes in environmental conditions, including climate change. Through research, environmental analysis and education, we contribute knowledge about future sustainable land use and develop new solutions as a basis for decision-making in agriculture, forestry and the urban environment.
