YOUR MISSION As a Data Engineer, your mission is to design and develop scalable, high-performance data pipelines that enable seamless data processing, visualisation, and integration into machine learning models.  You'll play a key role in shaping the data engineering foundation of our next-generation AI-driven products, ensuring that data flows efficiently and is readily accessible for advanced analytics. WHAT YOU’LL BRING * Strong Programming Skills: Expertise in Python and/or Java, with proficiency in SQL. * Experience in Data Engineering: 5+ years of experience in designing and building scalable data solutions. * Passion for Data and Analytics: A deep interest in optimizing data workflows and making data-driven decisions. * Expertise in ETL and Big Data: Hands-on experience with ETL tools, Hadoop-based technologies (e.g., Spark), and data processing frameworks like Beam or Flink. * High-Quality Code Standards: Ability to write tested, resilient, and well-documented code. * Cloud Computing Experience: Experience in building and maintaining cloud infrastructure (GCP or AWS is a plus). * Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to take ownership and drive projects from concept to completion. * Strong Communication & Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills, with a team-oriented and proactive approach. * Leadership & Mentorship Skills: Experience in line management and mentoring engineers, helping to grow the team’s technical capabilities. The Partner Manager, Nordics, will play a pivotal role in expanding our position as Google Cloud’s leading Cloud Data + AI Service Partner. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying strategic opportunities, sourcing partner-sourced opportunities (individually and with sales), and driving co-sell motions with Google and complimentary partners. You will work closely with cross-functional teams at Datatonic and across Google to drive partner success and achieve pipeline and sales goals. Strategic Planning & Execution: * Joint Business Plans (JBPs): Leading the development and execution of JBPs with Google Cloud, aligning on targets, and ensuring buy-in from both sides. * Go-to-Market (GTM) Plans: Collaborating with internal teams to develop and execute GTM strategies for Datatonic's solutions with Google Cloud. * Solution Development: Providing Google Cloud's perspective on Datatonic solutions, gathering feedback, and facilitating improvements. 3. Business Development & Growth: * Pipeline Generation: Working with Google Cloud and other partners to identify and drive new business opportunities. This includes identifying key Googlers, leveraging customer success stories, and exploring funding opportunities. * Workload Management: Collaborating with the Partner Engineer and sales team to track and manage workloads, ensuring smooth delivery and customer satisfaction. 4. Communication & Ops Enablement: * QBRs & Exec alignment: Leading quarterly business reviews and exec alignment trackers with Google Cloud, preparing presentations, and tracking action items. * Internal & External Communication: Facilitating communication and knowledge sharing between Datatonic and Google Cloud teams. This includes presenting updates, coordinating events, and leading enablement initiatives. * Partner Ops & Onboarding: Managing Google Cloud partner scorecard, keeping partner operations (eg sourced pipeline, funding requests) up to date, onboarding new team members. You'll be an advocate of high-quality engineering and best-practice in production software as well as rapid prototypes. Whilst the position is a hands-on technical role, we'd be particularly interested to find candidates with a desire to lead projects and take an active role in leading client discussions. Your responsibilities will involve building trusted relationships with prospects, finding creative ways to use machine learning to solve problems, scoping projects, and overseeing the delivery of these engagements.
