We are now looking for a Financial Specialist for IMC’s Finance Team in Älmhult. Please note that this is a temporary contract for one (1) year. As a Financial Specialist, you will be responsible for invoicing, recording financial data, and supporting financial follow-ups. You will contribute to the integration between financial routines and project operation and be the connection between business, project operation, accounting and ensure monthly closing routines. You will also be recording sales and income correctly and fulfilling internal policy requirements. Ensuring preparation of invoicing documents, handover, and retention of payment collection notifications to IKEA markets. Key responsibilities Providing financial reporting and analyses and calculations to serve as decision support and performing continuous data management in financial systems, in accordance with company policies Supporting the business with financial expertise, ad-hoc reporting, development and education in relevant financial tools and ways of working Developing and improving through training and support of related digital tools and ways of working. What we would like you to bring to the table: We see that you have good financial knowledge (University degree in Business and Economics or corresponding knowledge) and you have good knowledge in project control, business administration and reporting. You have passion and interest in finance and business performance and enjoy working together, finding better ways, and getting things done. You are result driven and motivated to reach targets, together with getting energized by handling and solving problems. Furthermore, you have good knowledge/proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially excel). You also manage accounts receivable and accounts payable and have a basic knowledge of accounting principles. It is crucial that you are fluent in Swedish and English both verbal and in writing and are used to work with Swedish accounting- and tax rules. You have good knowledge and experience of relevant systems (Coda, Power BI, Dynamics, Plan view, SAP, Basware). This position is placed in Älmhult, Sweden. We are looking for a Financial Controller for IMC’s Finance Team in Älmhult. As a Financial Controller in IKEA Marketing & Communication AB (IMC), you will have an end-to-end perspective on financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance follow-up. You will support leaders and stakeholders in financial decision-making and help drive financial awareness across the organization. Operating in a project and assignment-based environment, you will play a key role in project and portfolio financial management. Together with the Finance team, you will contribute to the development of reporting, structures, and digital solutions to support efficient financial steering. You will report to the Finance Manager and work closely with colleagues across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Be responsible for monthly and annual P&L reporting and analysis Lead the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes Develop and continuously improve financial structures, processes, systems, and reporting to support effective decision-making with minimal administration Drive financial steering and follow-up across the project and portfolio landscape Act as a trusted business partner, providing financial insights, analysis, and guidance to support cost-conscious decision-making and efficient use of resources What we would like you to bring to the table In addition to your accounting and financial controlling expertise, experience in implementing digital solutions within Finance, Accounting, and Project & Portfolio Management will be highly valued. The ability to prioritize, communicate, and provide clear directions is necessary. The role as a financial controller we believe you have: Good financial knowledge (University degree in Business administration or similar) Proven experience in financial control, business analytics, and performance reporting. Strong knowledge of Swedish accounting rules, and regulations Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience from ERP, and Project Portfolio management (PPM) system Leadership skills – leading yourself and leading others. This position is placed in Älmhult, Sweden.
