We are currently looking for a technically skilled Service Technician to be based at one of our customers in Olofström, providing hands-on technical support and ensuring reliable machine performance. As a Service Technician at Modig, you will work on-site at our customer’s facility in Olofström and be the first point of contact for technical service and support related to our machines. Your main responsibilities will include troubleshooting, maintenance, repairs, and preventive service, working closely with both the customer and the Modig team. The role requires you to work independently and take responsibility for identifying and resolving technical issues efficiently. You will also support the customer in the daily operation of the machines and help ensure high availability and performance. While your primary workplace will be at the customer site in Olofström, occasional travel to Modig’s facility in Kalmar or other locations may be required for training, support, or other service assignments. We are looking for someone who is technically skilled and has experience in service, maintenance, troubleshooting, or similar technical work. Experience with CNC or machining equipment is preferred, along with knowledge of mechanics, electrical systems, control and regulation technology, and hydraulics. You are independent, responsible, solution-oriented, communicative, and customer-focused. Since you will represent Modig while working closely with our customer, we place great importance on your ability to build good relationships and provide professional and reliable support. Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is required, and a valid driver’s license (B) is necessary. As a field service technician at Modig, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and service of our machines. The role also includes training customers in machine operation and handover procedures. The work involves international travel.
