Through our NextGen Program, you will gain a unique opportunity to step behind the scenes at Opticos and discover what consulting is really about. This selective program is tailored for ambitious students with 2–3 years remaining in their studies and is compatible with full-time academic commitments or other engagements. Program Overview The program consists of 3 interactive sessions covering a variety of topics, including an introduction to the consulting profession, deep dives into current industry trends, and engaging discussions with experienced consultants. Each session provides participants with a practical insight into consulting and access to insider perspectives, concluding with food, drinks, and networking opportunities with our consultants. Requirements * Students with 2-3 years left in their studies, pursuing a master's degree in business, economics, engineering, IT, or a related field * Students based in the Stockholm or Gothenburg area * Business proficiency in both Swedish and English Format * 3 interactive evening sessions (Feb–Apr 2027) * Choose to join one of our offices: Stockholm or Gothenburg How to apply 1. The Young Professionals Program introduces talents to the world of management consulting in an exciting and efficient way. * It is a 1-year graduate program where you will work with, and be mentored by, Opticos consultants on client projects * A senior colleague will be your development coach to ensure your personal and professional growth * You will have the opportunity to travel to our two offices in Sweden for program courses, special events, and social activities. In addition, you will also go on a graduation trip to our office in India * After the program, you will continue your career with us as a management consultant This helps you get to know other consultants – and have fun along the way! The program provides a combination of theory and practice where the theoretical part covers four areas: * Consulting Skills: Develop the essential skills that are expected of a management consultant, regardless of assignment or position * Case Studies: The courses provide case studies on current or previous client assignments where, for example, a digitalisation journey, sourcing, or IT strategy has been in focus * Areas of Expertise: Introducing you to the business areas within Opticos – the expertise we offer our clients * Methodologies & Frameworks: Learn the fundamentals of understanding the methodologies and frameworks used by organisations today.
