About Volumental Volumental is a FitTech™ company used by footwear brands and retailers, matching people with shoes that truly fit through 3D scanning and machine learning. Our vision is "a world without sizes, where every body fits". We work with brands like New Balance, Red Wing, Fleet Feet, and Vivobarefoot across 3,000+ stores in 60 countries, with 60M+ foot scans collected, one of the world's largest datasets of its kind. We've always been an AI company at our core. Today, that extends beyond the product into how we build, using AI agents and strong self-serve tooling to move faster from idea to production. Where you fit in Every scan in every one of those stores, and every recommendation we give, depends on infrastructure that has to work while a shopper is standing in front of a clerk. Our platform runs on Kubernetes on Google Cloud, is managed as code, is deployed through GitOps, and is observed through Grafana. What we’re looking for is someone who treats that platform as a product: one our developers can self-serve on, that holds up when things go wrong, and that is ready for new kinds of workloads. This is a hands-on Platform Engineer role. Most days you'll be shipping and running infrastructure with Terraform, Helm and ArgoCD, keeping an eye on our systems through Grafana, and building tools in Go that let developers get what they need without waiting on anyone. You'll also spend time explaining technical tradeoffs and writing docs that others can act on. AI is changing the industry, and we see it as an opportunity to empower people. By automating toil and mechanical tasks across the organisation, people can focus on the architectural, novel, and creative work. You will be right at the centre of this transformation, enabling not only yourself and your team’s work, but ensuring that the company can leverage AI and accelerate as a whole. Things you'll do: Ship and run production infrastructure on Kubernetes and GCP, managed as code with Terraform and deployed with Helm and ArgoCD Define SLOs and build monitoring and alerting in Grafana that tells us when stores and shoppers are actually affected Take part in on-call, lead incident response, and run postmortems that turn into real fixes Build tools in Go that let developers self-serve on environments, deployments and access Explain technical tradeoffs to engineers, product managers and leadership, and write documentation others can act on Leverage AI agents to compress routine work, redirecting the time saved into reliability and platform improvements Help strengthen how we handle access, secrets, certificates and image security alongside the wider team We are excited about you because: You have 3+ years of experience running production infrastructure in an SRE, DevOps or Platform role You've been on-call for production systems on Kubernetes and a major cloud provider, ideally GCP, and have led incident response and postmortems You can set up SLO-based monitoring and alerting, and you're comfortable managing infrastructure as code with Terraform You write clean, maintainable, cloud-native code in at least one language such as Go or Python You have solid systems knowledge and troubleshoot methodically across the stack You're comfortable with ambiguity and enjoy finding the right problem and seeing it through Bonus - Don't let these stop you from applying, but please let us know if you have experience with: Deploying and running AI agent workloads and tool servers (such as MCP), with sandboxing, rate limiting and observability of agent actions Security: identity and access management, authentication (OAuth/OIDC, SSO), certificate and TLS/mTLS management, secrets handling, network hardening, vulnerability management, and image hardening and scanning Compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2 or GDPR Database operations and migrations Running workloads across multiple cloud providers or regulated regions What we can offer you: Personal learning budget and access to coaching Opportunity to work with a great team of 20+ nationalities in our English-speaking office Occupational pension at ITP1 level Flexible Public Holidays Policy Options Program Parental pay top-up Wellness allowance Flexible work policy (at least 3 days a week from our Stockholm office) The monthly compensation range for this role in Stockholm is 52,000-66,000 SEK. Actual compensation will depend on level, experience, and skillset as assessed in the interview process. This is a full-time position based at our Stockholm headquarters. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds! If this role excites you but you don't meet every qualification, we encourage you to apply - we'd love to hear from you. Feel free to include a link to your GitHub or anything you've built or operated that you're proud of. How we hire We use generative AI to assist the people running our recruitment process, for example in preparing interviews. People are in the loop at every stage, and every decision about your application is made by a human.

We work with brands like New Balance, Red Wing, Fleet Feet, and Vivobarefoot across 3,000+ stores in 60 countries, with 60M+ foot scans collected, one of the world's largest datasets of its kind. We are 20+ nationalities based mostly in Stockholm, with colleagues across Europe, the US, and Asia. People & Culture is a team of two (Head of People & Culture + Office Coordinator), and you’ll be our third. We’re small, but our work has real business impact. We strengthen leadership, keep our processes and policies evolving with the business, and foster an environment where people do their best work. Where you fit in The foundations are in place. Much of our admin is outsourced, automated, or increasingly handled by AI agents. Managers own day-to-day processes, supported by toolkits and coaching. We’re now looking for a Senior People Partner to shape what comes next. You’ll look at how we work and make it better: rethinking tooling, building new agents and automations while keeping the human touch, anticipating what the business will need next, and finding new ways for People & Culture to create impact. This role suits a builder with good judgment. You’ll enjoy making recurring work smaller: automating what should be automated, deleting what shouldn’t exist, and rebuilding what people work around. You’ll also build trust quickly to collaboratively solve problems as we grow. What you’ll do Partner with managers, using data, business understanding, and trusted relationships, to help them build engaged, high-performing teams. Rethink recurring people work such as onboarding, probation, and development talks. Spot automation opportunities, and prototype solutions quickly. Own and improve our people tooling (HiBob, Teamtailor, and our agents). Extract insights across People processes and use them to improve outcomes. Run our company-wide cycles, such as salary reviews and engagement surveys, using our Manager Academy forum to prepare managers so each cycle runs smoothly. Contribute team-level insights to workforce planning, organization decisions, engagement priorities and compensation decisions. Balance employee experience, operational efficiency, and compliance in the everyday work that keeps everything running. What you'll need 6+ years of hands-on HR experience across the employee lifecycle, or deep expertise in at least three core areas of it (e.g., performance, compensation, onboarding, employee relations). Experience implementing or redesigning company-wide performance, compensation, distributed workforce, or manager-enablement processes. Experience adding features to or integrating an HRIS (HiBob or comparable). Working fluency with AI tools and agents - you leverage AI tools in your day-to-day work (e.g., drafting, analysis, research) and know when to trust the output and when to check it. A broad understanding of employment law. Fluent English. How you work You are pragmatic, structured, and enjoy building and iterating systems-level solutions for continuous improvement. You get to the root of complex situations and make difficult people moments feel clear instead of chaotic. You turn recurring questions and team-level signals into useful insights for managers. You work well on your own and with others, and you can influence at every level. You solve problems in the open, asking good questions, sharing your knowledge, and shipping first iterations sooner rather than presenting polished answers later. You see things through, spotting what needs doing without being asked, and making it happen all the way to done. Bonus - Not required, but nice to have Experience at a tech scaleup, especially an engineering-heavy one. Experience building automations or AI agents, using n8n, Zapier, Apps Script, MCP servers, or similar. Familiarity with Swedish labor legislation. Familiarity with remote work setups. What we offer Flexible work policy (at least 3 days from the office) An AI-forward team that gives you the tools to work smarter Personal learning budget and access to coaching Occupational pension at ITP1 level Flexible Public Holidays Policy Options Program Parental pay top-up Wellness allowance This is a full-time position based at our Stockholm headquarters, reporting to our Head of People & Culture. We welcome applicants from all background! If this role excites you but you don’t meet every qualification, we encourage you to apply - we’d love to hear from you.

We've always been an AI company at our core. Today, that extends beyond the product into how we build, using AI and field discovery to move faster from insight to working solutions. Where you fit in: A shopper's path to a confident fit decision is a whole service, not just a scan: it starts before they reach any of our products, runs through store staff, queues, try-ons, and follow-ups - or through size charts, reviews, and returns online - and ends in the real world. Whether the shopper walks out with the right fit is shaped long before they arrive: by the size runs, systems, and policies set at headquarters, by how a store manager staffs and trains the floor, and by what the clerk can see and recommend in the moment. We call that end-to-end series the fitting moment, and it is the opportunity landscape our platform is built on. What we don't yet have is the observed model of how it actually runs in store and online - the people, processes, systems, data, partners, and policies behind what the shopper sees. You will build that model with product managers, designers, researchers, and store staff, creating a shared picture that can be used to choose which repeated needs become platform capabilities. This is a hands-on lead service designer role. You will belong to our design and research function (the design hub). Your key stakeholders will be the design manager, UX researcher, product managers, and commercial teams. You will spend time on retail floors, in our online surfaces, and with customers' operations teams, using field evidence to change what we prioritize and build. We run AI agents across the product organization to support our work by structuring field evidence, drafting and maintaining documentation, and assisting research. In addition to leveraging these agents, you may also help shape how our agents support research, for example how field evidence is structured so it can be compared across contexts. You will build the service model so both people and agents can work from it. What you'll do Observe real-world fittings in contrasting contexts - high-touch specialty stores, self-directed formats, on-location events, and e-commerce Build and maintain our fitting moment service model: current-state blueprints spanning shopper, frontline staff, store operations, customer headquarters, our products and partners, and the systems and data underneath Work out which segments run differently and which are the same, fitting with a different configuration, and give the organization a clear set of segments to work from Identify needs that repeat across segments and translate them into candidate platform capabilities and product opportunities - each tied to an owner, evidence level, and next test Design and prototype future-state service concepts Partner with product managers, research, and data/analytics on how triggers, engagements, and outcomes get measured Bring field evidence into the product cadence so product teams can choose what to build Work directly with customers, from store staff to executives Leverage AI agents to compress synthesis, blueprint drafting and research, redirecting the time saved into field observation, and keeping the shared service model in a form agents can query Travel for field observation and customer sessions (at least 4 times a year) We are excited about you because: You have 4+ years of experience in service design spanning physical and digital services, ideally in retail or another frontline operational environment You are familiar with B2B2C or platform contexts Your portfolio includes service blueprints for operations, systems, data, policy, and responsibilities, as well as field research You have of pilots or shipped changes that came from your maps You are comfortable mapping what happens behind the screen as well as in front of it You have working fluency with AI tools and agents You have demonstrated experience working across product teams, customer organizations, and store staff without direct authority Bonus - Don’t let these stop you from applying, but please let us know if you have experience with: Experience in retail technology or complex physical-plus-digital operating environments Experience in a product organization where teams run their discovery and delivery inside a shared direction Familiarity with instrumentation and measurement design for offline or hybrid journeys What we can offer you: Personal learning budget and access to coaching Opportunity to work with a great team of 15+ nationalities in our English-speaking office Occupational pension at ITP1 level Flexible Public Holidays Policy Options Program Parental pay top-up Wellness allowance Dog-friendly office Flexible work policy (at least 3 days a week from our Stockholm office) This is a full-time position based at our Stockholm headquarters, reporting to our VP Product. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds! If this role excites you but you don’t meet every qualification, we encourage you to apply - we’d love to hear from you. Please include a link to your portfolio as part of your application. We encourage candidates from a diversity of backgrounds to apply! How we hire We use generative AI to assist the people running our recruitment process, for example in preparing interviews.
