Our goal is simple: to become the default way people play sports in a city. Right now, we are looking for a student who wants real responsibility, not coffee runs. Your mission You will own the public athme website and turn it into a real commercial platform. A place where players, organizers and venues land, understand athme in seconds, sign up, and get started without friction. What you will do Own our public website from idea to live, with the founders as your sparring partners Build and improve the key flows: sign up, onboarding for players, organizers and venues, event pages and booking journeys Make the website convert: clear pages, fast loading, good SEO and simple tracking so we can see what works Run small experiments, like new landing pages and A/B tests, and learn from the numbers Ship often and see real people use what you built, sometimes the same week This is not only about code. It is about AI. You will not build everything by hand. We give you the AI tools and show you how we use them to design, build, test and ship faster. You will learn how to work with AI day to day: writing good prompts, reviewing AI-generated code, and automating the boring parts so you can focus on the product. This is the skill employers are looking for right now. You will leave with real experience of shipping a live product with AI, and a project you can show in your next job interview. Business Development Associate, Odense About the role Help grow athme in Odense by building relationships with existing sports communities and supporting them in bringing their activities onto the platform. You will be athme’s local representative in Odense, working with sports organizers, student communities, clubs, companies, and players. Although the role is based locally, you will work closely with our headquarters team in Denmark. You will receive a proven playbook, clear weekly priorities, outreach materials, regular check-ins, and ongoing support. You are not expected to enter the market alone or develop the strategy from scratch. Your responsibility is to execute and adapt an existing approach while helping us understand what works best in Odense. What you will do Identify and connect with sports clubs, student organizations, informal groups, universities, and companies in Odense Build relationships with organizers, hosts, and community leaders Introduce communities to athme and help them understand how the platform can support their activities Help onboard organizers, events, and entire communities onto the platform Support existing partners in running recurring activities and growing participation Attend relevant events, campuses, sports venues, and community meetups Follow and execute athme’s local business development playbook Work closely with the headquarters team on priorities, outreach, and follow-ups Share insights about the Odense market and identify new partnership opportunities Collect feedback from organizers and players to improve the product and local experience What success looks like Success is not about transforming the Odense market overnight. Founding AI Engineer Mid to Senior Level | Copenhagen | Start ASAP or by agreement About athme athme is building the sports and community layer for cities. Our platform helps people discover activities, join games, meet others, and build real-world communities through sport. We are looking for a Founding AI Engineer to help us integrate AI into the athme product and operations in ways that create real value for users, organizers, and our team. The Role This is a product-focused AI engineering role. You will not be researching or training foundation models from scratch. You will use existing AI models and technologies to build and ship practical features inside athme. This could include smarter recommendations, improved search and matching, AI-assisted event creation, personalized onboarding, automated support, community insights, and internal tools. You will work closely with our CTO and founders to identify the strongest opportunities, prototype quickly, and bring successful ideas into production. What You Will Do Build and integrate AI-powered features into the athme product Connect AI models and services with our existing mobile app, backend, APIs, and data Own features from idea and prototype through deployment and improvement Improve recommendations, discovery, matching, personalization, and automation Build reliable systems with proper testing, monitoring, and fallback logic Evaluate different models based on quality, speed, cost, and privacy Help shape athme’s AI roadmap and technical direction Contribute to the wider product and engineering team where needed What We Are Looking For Mid to senior-level engineering experience with a strong record of shipping real products Practical experience building applications with AI models, APIs, embeddings, agents, recommendation systems, or similar technologies Strong backend and system architecture fundamentals Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Python, APIs, and databases Experience with React Native and MongoDB is a strong advantage Strong product judgment and the ability to focus on useful features, not AI for the sake of AI A proactive builder who moves quickly, takes ownership, and works well in an early-stage environment Previous experience with consumer apps, marketplaces, social products, or startups is a strong advantage.
