About the Role
We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to lead the creation and optimisation of one of our global cross-functional GTM
Pods strategy— small, agile squads focused on growing a specific product area. Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, you
will be key to accelerating our commercial growth and building our product-lead brand. You will work closely with product
leadership and strategically lead a team of marketing experts.
To excel in this role you need to be data-driven, a great collaborator, have a high attention to detail, and a passion for both
the commercial and technical sides of a SaaS business. You need to be able to collect and synthesize information to create

P-1345 You will be the Product Manager for the Databricks Runtime team in Amsterdam. The team works at the intersection of query processing, storage, infrastructure and data governance, all key components of the Databricks data intelligence platform. As the Product Manager, you will develop a deep understanding of modern cloud infrastructure, data governance solutions, and open source components, and gather requirements from customers. You will launch features that will impact how customers process petabytes of data every day and make it simpler for them to draw value from their data. This role requires coordinating all product activities from vision to implementation, including engaging customers to understand their needs, developing long-term product strategy, defining product roadmaps, working with engineering to build those products, and coordinating with various internal stakeholders (both pre- and post-launch) to ensure product success. ABOUT YOUR ROLE The Product Manager Business solutions & Alternative OS leads the strategic vision and long-term roadmap for dedicated Business software solutions and OS-level open-source software partnerships, ensuring they align with business growth, market trends, and technical feasibility. You will drive our B2B product service offering, by meeting with prospective customers and supporting our sales team in identifying their needs, defining a development roadmap and shepherding the feature development through our product introduction process. In this role, you will have to deeply investigate, capture and prioritize requirements and features that support the development and release of alternative open-source operating systems in Fairphone products, at a quality level that matches other established certified software branches or flavours. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & OBJECTIVES Key Responsibilities * Establish and maintain your product roadmap, aligning stakeholders and keeping the rest of the organization updated. * Shepherding product development through the new product introduction process, owning the closure of each gate across the team. * Maintain and prioritize the feature backlog for both software Business solutions and alternative OS, balancing changing technical requirements, partner feedback, Mobile Device Management (MDM) enterprise workflows needs, and resource constraints. * Act as a bridge between alternative OS software partners and internal Fairphone teams that require working with their software (generally supply chain & after-sales) to ensure builds are delivered in time, or remain available for any commercial/marketing queries regarding their software. * Support business development activities like drafting technical annexes for B2B contracts, meeting software teams, or supporting client/partner meetings with your technical, establish clear and transparent communication channels. * Continuously contribute to improving ways of working between internal stakeholders to assure a high quality standard and support of our B2B accounts and the alternative open-source OS’s. Key Objectives * Establish and lead the strategic vision and long-term roadmap for software Business Solutions and alternative OS partnerships, ensuring they align with business growth, trends in the market and technical feasibility. * Act as the central liaison between external development teams and Fairphone teams to ensure software solutions are successfully delivered, supported and meet our quality standards and envisioned value proposition. * Manage the backlogs of (new) features and issues, considering changing technical requirements, partner feedback and resources constraints. YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE * 3+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or technical business analysis, specifically within services to business customers, mobile software ecosystems and/or with experience in working with alternative open-source software. * Strong technical understanding of the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) and the underlying mechanics of custom ROMs and alternative OS’s. * Technical depth to be able to discuss bug fixes is as important as enough commercial acumen and the ability to discuss business cases, costs, and contractual obligations. * Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) architectures and enterprise enrollment workflows and Android Enterprise recommended (AER). * Excellent stakeholder management skills: proven ability to manage expectations and steer conversations with founders/developers of alternative OS solutions and engineering/ IT/operations leads within the organizations of our business customers. * Product Management or Agile Product Owner Certifications (e.g., CSPO, PSPO). * You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; speaking French, German is a big plus! * Prior experience in the circular electronics sector or a deep alignment with sustainable hardware/software lifecycles. * Availability to travel on a regular basis internationally.
