What you’ll do
Right now, we are looking for a Head of Quality & Metallurgy to join our Operations & Production organization in Boden.
In this role, you will lead the Quality & Metallurgy team and play a critical role in ensuring product quality, process
performance, and continuous improvement across our operations. You will combine technical expertise with people leadership,
helping to shape both our products and our ways of working as we ramp up one of the world's most advanced green steel plants.
The Metallurgical Development function provides technical expertise to manufacturing operations while driving mission-focused
development with a strong emphasis on quality, environmental performance, and economics. The team develops process control
approaches and manufacturing procedures to support fossil-free steel production.
You will work closely with Operations, Production, Engineering, and Technology teams to ensure that our products meet the highest
quality standards while continuously improving performance and efficiency.

Stegra is on a mission to change the global steel industry by producing green hydrogen, iron, and steel - with the goal of
eliminating CO₂ emissions. Instead of coal, we use green hydrogen and fossil-free electricity, meaning our primary emissions will
be water and heat.
By 2030, our ambition is to produce 5 million tonnes of green steel annually in our fully integrated, digitized, and sustainable

Placement: Boden What you’ll do Right now, we are looking for a Construction Manager for our Construction team. In this role you will report to our Head of Site Execution and work within our Project Delivery function. The team is responsible for executing construction activities on site, ensuring safe, high-quality, and on-schedule delivery across multiple work fronts. As Construction Manager, you will drive day-to-day field execution within your assigned area. You will coordinate contractors, ensure work readiness, and maintain momentum on site while resolving issues and keeping teams aligned with project priorities. Specific to this role, the day-to-day tasks will include the following but as we are a growing company with very little silos between teams, other tasks might be included as well. * Drive daily construction activities to ensure alignment with safety, quality, and schedule targets * Maintain short-term lookahead plans (3–6 weeks) to secure readiness of materials, resources, and access * Coordinate with EPCM and contractors to track progress, constraints, and execution priorities * Validate work readiness, ensuring permits, drawings, materials, and resources are in place * Identify and resolve field issues, clashes, and productivity barriers * Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards * Participate in coordination meetings, site walkdowns, and SIMOPS planning * Provide clear updates on progress, risks, and upcoming needs to the Area Construction Manager What you’ll bring You’re curious and believe that real progress happens when we work together. About the Role As Central Cost Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity, consistency, and insightfulness of cost performance across one of Europe’s most ambitious industrial projects. Sitting within the Central Project Controls Function, this role provides governance and oversight across the programme - setting standards, supporting delivery teams, and ensuring the accuracy of cost data that informs strategic decisions. You will own cost control frameworks and tools, guide embedded project teams, and act as a key interface between cost engineering, planning, risk, and finance. Contract Type: 18-Month Fixed-Term Contract Location: Boden Reports To: Head of Central Project Controls Key Responsibilities * Develop, maintain, and own Stegra’s cost control standards, tools, templates, and procedures. * Provide independent oversight of cost performance across all delivery areas, identifying variances, trends, and risks. * Ensure a single, reliable source of cost data is maintained across the project lifecycle. * Govern and coordinate the cost aspects of the integrated change control process, ensuring cross-functional impact assessments. * Support Area Cost Leads in applying consistent cost methodologies and reporting standards. * Provide training and guidance to cost control staff across the project. * Produce consolidated cost dashboards and insights for Stegra leadership and the Project Improvement Unit. * Drive continuous improvement in cost management systems, processes, and practices. * Deploy cost resources into delivery areas when additional support is required. * Manages the end‑to‑end change control process across all disciplines, ensuring changes are assessed, coordinated, and implemented. * Own the change control framework, standards, workflows, and templates for the entire project. * Ensure all proposed changes are assessed for impacts across cost, schedule, risk, and interfaces. * Support area teams to embed effective change control practices. What We’re Looking For * ~15 years of experience in cost control within large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects, ideally under EPCM contracts. * Deep understanding of cost management frameworks, including AACE and PMI standards. * Proven experience working across interfaces such as engineering, procurement, construction, quality, and planning. * Strong proficiency in cost control tools and reporting systems, including Earned Value Management (EVM), forecasting, and KPIs. * Demonstrated ability to lead in complex, fast-paced environments with multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities. * Strong communication and influencing skills; capable of working cross-functionally and supporting executive-level decisions. * A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a strong sense of structure, integrity, and accountability. CONTENT & COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST As content and communications specialist at Stegra, you will spearhead the production of the content that helps shape the story of the company, ranging from its purpose and vision to the progress in daily operations and profiling the people who make up the broader Stegra team. You will also support the broader communications team with different assignments. Joining Stegra, you will be part of an impact company and a modern, sustainable, industrial player set out to reduce emissions in. some of the world’s dirtiest industries. You’ll be part of the Communication team, reporting to the Head of Communication. Collaboration across several teams is a natural way of working in the communications team, including but not limited to, operations, business development, construction and employer branding. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Content production: As part of the communications team, and specifically together with the web and social media editor, plan and execute the production of content assets for a variety of channels. This is expected to take up about 50% of a full-time role. o Crafting engaging and relevant content for short, mid and longer term, including but not limited to, text, photo, film and graphics. The content should be tailored for various platforms including web and social media and must align with the company’s strategy and brand objectives. o Develop creative concepts affirming Stegra’s perception as the first of the new; a modern industrial player and a green-tech company. o Together with Web and social media editor, analyze the performance of content in different channels and adapt production plans accordingly. o Collaborate with agencies to create specific content packages and well as the ongoing documentation of the construction and operations of the plant in Boden. o Support the production of externally developed content by partners or visitors from the media. o Produce or edit content based on internal communications needs. Communications assignments: o Work with projects, events and partnerships for various communications assignments in the communications function, both internal and external. This part of the role is expected to take up the remaining 50% of a full-time position. o Plan and coordinate conference speaker participation for Stegra, including prioritizing among requests and following up with speakers. o Project manage communications events such as inaugurations, partnership events or company participation at externally organized brand building events. o Develop, plan and coordinate activation and events related to strategic brand partnerships together with Group Brand Lead. o Active support to team colleagues working in public and media relations, internal communications and brand. WHAT YOU BRING: o An ability to move between strategy, tactics and operational mode with ease. At Stegra we roll up our sleeves and contribute with high and low in a small communications team o 5-10 years proven experience in communications, with a particular focus on content creation and editorial production. o Experience from fast-paced and changing environments is a must and previous experience in industrial or sustainability sectors is beneficial. o Collaboration, team-work and the ability to lead projects is required in this role, so those skills and personality traits are a necessity. It’s not always easy in a fast growing and changing organization, and should be perceived as a positive challenge by a person suited for this role. o A good understanding of digital communication and experience from working in a highly digital environment with external or internal communication o Good communication skills in both Swedish and English. Both verbal and written, with experience crafting messages for a wide range of audiences.
