Business Solutions Architect: Accounting Systems

WHAT YOU’LL DO We are seeking a technically skilled and process-oriented CRM Administrator to oversee and optimize the systems, workflows, and automations that support the full panelist lifecycle. In this role, you will own the organization's Panel facing CRM ecosystem, design scalable operational processes, and leverage automation and AI to improve efficiency, data quality, and the panelist experience. You'll partner closely with Operations, Engineering, Product, and Support teams to translate business needs into scalable system solutions that support recruitment, onboarding, engagement, retention, support, and offboarding. The ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, technically proficient, and experienced in building CRM solutions, workflow automations, and operational systems in a fast-paced environment.   THE DAY-TO-DAY * Own the administration, configuration, and ongoing optimization of the organization's CRM platform and panel management systems. * Design, build, and maintain scalable workflows and automations that support the full panelist lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, engagement, retention, support, and offboarding. * Develop AI-powered workflows and intelligent automations to improve operational efficiency, reduce manual processes, enhance support operations, and optimize panel management. * Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify operational challenges and translate business requirements into scalable system solutions. * Monitor system performance, workflow effectiveness, and data quality, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement. * Create and maintain dashboards, reports, documentation, and process maps to support operational visibility and decision-making. * Manage integrations between CRM platforms, internal databases, and third-party applications using APIs and automation tools. * Troubleshoot system issues, investigate workflow failures, and provide technical support for operational teams. * Recommend and implement continuous process improvements that enhance scalability, operational efficiency, and the panelist experience. * Ensure system configurations, workflows, and data management practices align with organizational policies, security standards, and compliance requirements.   GREAT TO HAVE * 3–7 years of experience in CRM administration, systems management, operations technology, or a related technical operations role. * Hands-on experience administering CRM platforms and building workflow automations. * Experience designing scalable operational processes and lifecycle automations. * Experience with AI tools, automation platforms, and intelligent workflow solutions, with the ability to identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency. * Experience working with APIs, system integrations, or low-code/no-code automation platforms. * Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects independently. * Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.   LIFE AT VIANT Investing in our employee’s professional growth is important to us, but so is investing in their well-being. YOUR IMPACT As an engineer on the APX SRE CloudOps team, you will spend a significant portion of your time writing code. Our team builds the Zero Touch Platform, an internal automation platform built with Golang and Temporal (a workflow orchestration engine) that eliminates manual operational toil at scale. You will develop workflows, APIs, and services that replace what previously required human intervention with reliable, tested automation. You will also participate in on-call rotations and incident response. Understanding production firsthand gives you the context to build automation that solves real problems. This role combines significant software development with standard DevOps configuration and production ownership. Location - This role is based out of our Seattle or Boston office and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Develop Temporal workflows and Go services on the Zero Touch Platform that automate cloud operations at scale. * Write code that is performant, maintainable, clear, and concise. Participate in code review, design reviews, and CI/CD. * Build robust, easy-to-use foundational platforms and tools that enable engineering teams to provision services rapidly, consistently, securely, and cost-effectively. * Participate in on-call rotations and incident response. Use operational experience to identify and prioritize the next automation targets. * Debug and resolve issues in cloud-native distributed systems. * Influence and educate the engineering organization to adopt new and improved architectural patterns. * Provide robust documentation for use by engineers to promote self-service. * Take calculated risks, champion new ideas, and cultivate your craft. WHAT YOU BRING * This position involves handling of classified federal data; under federal regulations, it is open to U.S. citizens only. * 5+ years of applicable experience. * Experience managing cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or similar. * Experience using managed languages such as Python, Go, C#, Java, or similar. * Experience operating in Kubernetes platforms like AKS, EKS, or similar. * Experience utilizing CI/CD platforms to automate provisioning infrastructure, software builds, tests, and releases. * Experience using observability tools such as APM, logging, and metrics to assist with debugging issues. * Experience using Infrastructure as Code tools for provisioning infrastructure such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar. * Builder-operator mindset with proven production ownership (uptime, SLOs, on-call, incident leadership). * Empathy to support the needs of software engineers.
