The Department of Economics is part of the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg and brings together around 100 researchers and teachers from several countries. The department offers teaching in economics, finance, and statistics to around 800 students across courses and programmes. Our research spans a broad range of fields, including labour, health, applied microeconomics, environmental, development, behavioural, and financial economics.
