Job Description

You will join a team of experienced engineers while taking ownership of a defined technical area. Your main responsibilities will

include calibrating and developing drivability functions, conducting tests in various environments, and analysing test data to

ensure optimal system performance.

Testing will take place in laboratories, test vehicles, and field environments under challenging conditions, including extreme

temperatures and varying altitudes. You will use advanced software tools for programming, modelling, simulation, and data

processing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Calibrate and verify functions related to drivability and powertrain performance.
Validate calibration results in laboratory environments and test vehicles under varying operating conditions.
Evaluate test results, analyse data, and investigate technical issues.
Plan, develop, and improve calibration methods and processes.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

You have a strong interest in new technologies, powertrain control systems, and calibration. You enjoy analysing large amounts of

data and identifying opportunities for improvement.

You are proactive, self-driven, and able to understand the bigger picture while maintaining attention to technical details. You

work well in a team, communicate effectively, and approach problem-solving with curiosity and a pragmatic mindset.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.
Strong interest in vehicles, powertrain systems, and internal combustion engines.
Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and Simulink.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Valid passenger car driving licence.

MERITORIOUS QUALIFICATIONS

Fluency in written and spoken Swedish.
Good knowledge of combustion engines, transmissions, and electric drive systems.
Strong interest in vehicle technology and powertrain development.
Relevant academic coursework in combustion engines, software programming, and electronics.
  • Experience using calibration and measurement tools such as ETAS INCA.
