Head of Business Development - Mobile Power Solutions

What you will do

As Head of Business Development - Mobile Power Solutions, you will lead the commercial development agenda across our global Sales and Service Market organization.

Our business provides mobile power solutions across both combustion engine and electrified applications, serving customers in segments such as mining, agriculture, material handling, forestry, special vehicles, on-road and construction. In this role, you will take a holistic view of the customer and business lifecycle, from winning new business and supporting market introduction to creating long-term value from the installed base.

You will translate market trends, customer insights, demand development and competitive intelligence into clear commercial priorities and growth opportunities. This includes developing commercial plans across markets and segments, identifying new applications, partnerships and aftermarket opportunities, and ensuring that the voice of the market is represented in our product and service development.

A key part of your responsibility will be to understand how changing technologies and customer needs, including the transition from combustion engines to electrified solutions, impact our business. You will establish relevant commercial KPIs, develop market outlooks and ensure that analysis leads to concrete actions that strengthen sales, profitability and customer value.

You will also facilitate alignment between global and regional organizations, challenging us with a strong outside-in perspective on what we need to do to win – today and throughout the lifecycle of our products.

Your future team

You will be part of the Global Sales & Service Market organization and work across a broad international network of commercial, product and market functions.

The role involves close collaboration with regional organizations and colleagues across Sales, Service Market, Product Management and other key functions. You will operate across diverse customer segments, markets and technologies, creating alignment around commercial priorities and long-term growth opportunities.

We believe you have:

Proven experience in business development, commercial strategy, sales, service market or market development, preferably in a global B2B environment

Strong commercial and analytical capabilities, including experience with profitability, pricing, forecasting and business cases

Experience working across multiple markets, customer segments and functions in an international organization

Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to create alignment across organizational and geographical boundaries

A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with a strong customer focus and the ability to translate market insights into business opportunities

Experience from mobile power, engines, off-highway equipment, mining, agriculture, forestry, material handling, automotive, electrification or industrial technology is highly valuable.
