Own the product portfolio of a software-defined vehicle platform and decide what gets built first, and why. As Portfolio Manager, you’ll own the portfolio that platform is built from, keeping every product development aligned with business goals in close collaboration with senior leadership and the Product Managers who own each domain.

The value you create Our SDV platform is made up of deeply interconnected domains. Each one has its own Product Manager, roadmap and ambitions. Your mission is to make sure the portfolio points where the business intends it to. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to make and anchor the key prioritization decisions. You’ll balance short-term delivery against long-term investment, and step in when priorities start drifting from what we set out to achieve. You see how projects connect, spot risks and dependencies early and turn them into clear choices while there’s still room to shape the outcome.

You’ll also lead a cross-functional review of how we take in, prioritize, follow up and report on work. You’ll do it together with:

• Capabilities and tech
• CDX
• Procurement and finance

The goal is a process that is documented, used across developments and sharper after every portfolio review. Just as important, you’ll grow the people around you. You’ll coach our Product Managers and help them build the skills and methods to create and maintain strong product concepts. You’ll bring in fresh thinking from universities, consultancies and other partners, so our ways of working keep pace with the best in academia and industry.

Who you are

You have solid experience in portfolio management or a similar role, ideally across several product developments at once. You know how to align priorities with business goals and get senior leadership to commit to them. You’re good at managing risks and dependencies across projects and you have the judgement to act early. You communicate clearly, whether it’s a leadership summary or working-level detail, and you get people from different functions pulling in the same direction. You’ve coached Product Managers before and you have a network of universities, consultancies and industry partners you can draw on for new methods. Experience from automotive or software-defined products is a plus.
