Om tjänsten

Your next PCB design deserves a role with real impact.

Know your way around Cadence Allegro? Bring your PCB design experience to a varied role. We are looking for a Senior ECAD

Engineer! At Ascom, you’ll work on new PCB designs, product development, and the maintenance and improvement of existing products

as equally important parts of your role. You’ll also collaborate with PCB manufacturers, keep designs up to date and improve the

processes behind them.

We are looking for a new colleague to join our Hardware and Mechanical Engineering team in Gothenburg. As a Senior ECAD Engineer

at Ascom, you will combine new PCB design and product development with the maintenance and improvement of existing products. This

position is based in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Ascom develops mission-critical communication and workflow solutions used in hospitals, elderly care and other demanding

environments. Our solutions work behind the scenes to help create safety for patients and staff.

Your days will be filled with…

Create new PCB designs and participate in product development projects as a PCB Designer.
Develop, improve and maintain PCB-Design processes and work instructions.
Keeping the ECAD system up to date.
Make technical pre studies.
Talking to PCB manufacturers
Maintain and improve PCBs in production.

And you are…

  • Highly qualified in Hardware Engineering, Electric Engineering or a similar area of study. Practical experience is also highly

valued.

You have at least 5 years of experience working with the ECAD tool Cadence Allegro. Other ECAD software is also valued.
You have worked with PLM tools previously, preferably Windchill or Agile.
  • You speak and write fluently in English and have sufficient proficiency in Swedish to work in Swedish, including participating

in day-to-day discussions and collaborating with colleagues.

What you will get

A role where your PCB expertise matters—from technical pre-studies and new designs to maintaining products in production.
  • Variety beyond the layout: combine hands-on design with manufacturer collaboration, ECAD system maintenance and process

improvement.

Flexible working hours.
  • The opportunity to shape how we work: help develop PCB design processes and work instructions, putting your experience into

practice beyond individual projects.

  • A place in our Hardware and Mechanical Engineering team in Gothenburg, where your specialist knowledge contributes to product

development and ongoing improvements.

  • Technical challenges that draw on your experience—and give you opportunities to keep learning through development work,

pre-studies and production support.

Interested in joining us?

We look forward to receiving your application! Tell us about your experience with Cadence Allegro, new PCB design and product

development, and maintaining and improving PCBs in production—and what interests you about this role. Ascom promotes diversity,

equality and inclusion.
