Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for experienced mechanical engineers to develop tailored technical solutions for truck customer requirements. You

will assess the feasibility of non-standard technical combinations across the chassis area and collaborate with cross-functional

engineering teams.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

• Investigate and evaluate the technical feasibility of customer-specific solutions
• Design mechanical solutions using CAD when required
• Release and introduce new parts to support customer adaptations
• Collaborate with chassis engineering, manufacturing, and purchasing teams
• Contribute to technical analysis, problem-solving, and continuous improvement

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 & 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• At least 5 years of automotive industry experience
• Hands-on experience with CREO and KOLA or relevant Volvo engineering systems
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
• Proactive mindset, good communication, and teamwork skills
