Wiring Harness Engineer

Are you a Wiring Harness Engineer with experience from the automotive industry and a passion for developing electrical distribution systems? Then this could be your next opportunity.

ALTEN is looking for a Wiring Harness Engineer for an exciting assignment towards one of our clients within the automotive industry. In this role, you will work with the development and integration of wiring harness systems, supporting the complete development process from schematic design to 3D packaging and installation.

Your profile

We believe you have:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent

3+ years of experience working with wiring harness design within the automotive industry

Experience creating and maintaining 2D wiring schematics in Saber

Experience with 3D routing, packaging, and installation design in CATIA V5 and/or Creo

Experience working with wiring harness development throughout the product development lifecycle

Understanding of vehicle electrical systems and harness integration

Experience from working in the automotive industry.

Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Swedish language skills are meritorious.
