This is an opportunity for you to join CapMan in the role as Investment Intern as part of the Infra team for spring 2027 or Fall
2027.
ABOUT THE TEAM
The CapMan Infra team consists of 16 infrastructure professionals based in Helsinki and Stockholm. The team focuses on Nordic
mid-cap infrastructure and invests in energy, transportation, and digital infrastructure assets that provide essential services to
Nordic societies and businesses while generating predictable cash flows. Through our investments we drive operational improvements
and offer tailored solutions to local infrastructure asset owners and partners in the Nordic countries. Sustainability is an
integrated part of our investment strategy.
As a continuation to the two successful infrastructure funds established in 2018 and 2022, we are currently raising our third fund
with a target size of EUR 750m, and the first close of the new fund was completed in June 2026.
We are now looking to strengthen our team by recruiting two full-time Investment Interns to join our Helsinki office, one for
Spring 2027 and one for Fall 2027.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will have the opportunity to gain insight into the infrastructure sector and be involved in everything from asset management
to deal sourcing and execution, providing an ideal opportunity to develop your skills and learn about the day-to-day work in
private equity.
As an Investment Intern, you will participate in various activities related to infrastructure investments, including:
Analysing new investment opportunities and preparing investment presentations
Conducting financial modelling and valuation as part of the screening process of new investment opportunities
Participating in due diligence processes for new acquisitions, according to possibilities
- Supporting in the value creation of existing portfolio companies by participating in day-to-day asset management and board
work, according to possibilities
Doing market research and analysing market trends
Creating fund marketing materials and other internal or external presentations
Collaborating on exciting business development projects to further develop CapMan Infra’s impact
WHO YOU ARE
To be successful in this role we believe that you:
Are at the later stage of your academic career in Finance, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or related fields
- Have prior experience from one or more internships in investment banking, private equity, management consulting or related
fields
Demonstrate strong drive, initiative, and problem-solving skills, along with a desire for continuous learning
Have an analytical and detail-oriented mindset with strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Possess hands-on financial modelling experience and solid understanding of corporate finance
Are comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
Have proficiency in English (required), knowledge in another Nordic language will be considered an advantage
