We are seeking a Head of Institutional Growth, Japan to lead our efforts in one of the world’s most advanced markets for
technology and finance. You will direct Solana Foundation's engagement strategy in Japan, developing deep relationships with

Flow Traders is looking for an experienced Institutional Trader (based in Hong Kong) to join our growing team in APAC. What You Will Do * Responsible for driving and expanding the Japan OTC trading business, including commercial development, external relationship management, and coordination between internal and external stakeholders * Oversee the full lifecycle of OTC trading activities, including counterparty onboarding, connectivity setup, pre- and post-trade processes, OMS account management, and day-to-day sales trading execution including trade booking * Manage and structure commercial arrangements, acting as a key liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure efficient communication and successful execution * Manage external relationships with institutional investors, ETF issuers, exchanges, trading venues, digital assets counterparties and other stakeholders in Japan to maximise overall trading opportunities * Provide administrative and business support, including coordination of marketing initiatives, event management, client meetings, and preparation of business documentation * Identify and support the business growth opportunities in Japan across the ETF and Digital Assets landscape WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED * Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial markets, preferably within sales trading, mid office or other ETF-related roles * Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese is mandatory * Solid understanding of ETFs, including market structure, liquidity dynamics, and trading mechanisms * Basic knowledge of digital assets and corresponding market structure preferred * Experience operating within Japanese financial markets, with a strong understanding of local market practices and client expectations * Strong operational capabilities, with attention to detail and the ability to navigate Japanese business customs effectively * Proven ability to develop, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with institutional counterparties, ETF issuers and exchanges * The ability to facilitate the onboarding process of new counterparties in Japan, including coordination across internal stakeholders; * Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with internal trading, risk and middle-office teams * Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg Terminal WHAT WE OFFER We like to think that talent grows at Flow and stays at Flow.
