Senior Python Engineer

At AutoProff, we’re changing the way used vehicles are traded across Europe. Every day, thousands of vehicles

are bought and sold through our platform, connecting professional car dealers across markets.

We’re looking for a Senior Python Engineer with a strong background in Python and software engineering to help develop and maintain the services behind

our vehicle data and pricing solutions. You'll work with machine learning models, APIs and data integrations, turning complex data

and models into reliable, scalable solutions used across our platform.

As our new Senior Python Engineer, you'll join our Tech & Product team, based in either Vejle or

Copenhagen.

You'll be part of a team responsible for developing and maintaining services related to vehicle data, data

enrichment and pricing. A key part of your role will be bringing machine learning models into production and ensuring they are

integrated into our systems.

You'll work closely with the Data Science team at AutoScout24, who are responsible for training, tuning and

optimising the models, while your focus will be on productionising them and building the software and infrastructure around

them.

We're also increasingly working with AI-assisted development, and you'll have the opportunity to

explore and apply new tools and ways of working as part of your day-to-day development.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services using

Python.

• Deploy and integrate machine learning models into production environments.
• Build and maintain services related to vehicle data, data enrichment and pricing.
• Develop APIs and integrations with external data providers and internal systems.
• Ensure our services are reliable, maintainable and perform well in production.
• Collaborate with engineers and Data Science colleagues across AutoProff and

AutoScout24.

• Take ownership of your solutions from development through deployment and ongoing

improvements.

• Explore and use AI-assisted development tools to improve development workflows and

efficiency.

We imagine you have a strong background in software engineering, with experience building and maintaining

backend services and working with machine learning solutions in production.

More specifically, we're looking for someone with:

• Solid professional experience in software engineering,

particularly backend development using Python.

• Experience deploying and integrating machine learning models into production

systems.

• A good understanding of machine learning concepts and how ML models are used in

real-world applications.

• Experience developing web services, REST APIs and integrations.
• Experience working with databases and data-driven applications.
• A good understanding of software architecture, design patterns and development best

practices.

• Experience taking ownership of software solutions throughout the development

lifecycle.

• Good communication skills in English and experience collaborating across teams.

Beyond your technical experience, we're looking for someone who is curious, pragmatic and comfortable taking

ownership. You enjoy solving complex technical problems, working with others and exploring new technologies and ways of developing

software.

It's a plus, but not a requirement, if you have experience with:

• AWS or other cloud platforms.
• CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment.
• MLOps practices and tools.
• AI-assisted software development tools and workflows.
• Working with data enrichment, pricing solutions or automotive data.

In this role, you'll work with machine learning in a practical setting, helping turn models and data into

solutions that support our platform and business. You'll also have the opportunity to work with new development technologies,

including AI-assisted development, alongside experienced engineers and Data Science colleagues.

stake in AutoProff. Together, we are working towards creating a fully integrated C2B-B2B-B2C solution for used cars across

Europe.
