DESCRIPTION Reporting to the VP of Policy & Research we are looking for someone to lead the development and implementation of public policy strategy in the UK. The Policy lead will need to influence regulators and Government on payments and open banking policy in a pivotal year for the sector, in order to further the interests of TrueLayer - a leading open banking-powered payments provider. AS A UK PUBLIC POLICY LEAD YOU WILL: * Work with TrueLayer teams to understand where rules and regulations create blockers, or opportunities for TrueLayer, and build a strategy to influence those rules. * Work with autonomy on delivering against the UK public policy strategy. * Build and develop relationships with key policy stakeholders across Government and regulators (HM Treasury, FCA, Payment Systems Regulator, Parliament, Bank of England). * Maintain TrueLayer’s reputation in the UK as a policy thought leader, through writing reports, blogs, op-eds and press articles. * Educate internal teams on the policy and regulatory horizon - incoming risks and opportunities. * Represent TrueLayer at meetings, events, panels and to the press * Brief TrueLayer leadership for speaking events and meetings related to public policy. * Feed into development of TrueLayer’s overall strategy. ABOUT YOU: * Proven track record of influencing policy makers and achieving results through advocacy. * Extensive knowledge and understanding of how Government, Westminster and regulators work. * Ability to develop and execute project plans and track progress against them * Ability to communicate complex concepts in simple and effective ways to a range of different audiences. ABOUT THE TEAM Treasury Operations is integral to the strategy, execution, and support of many core functionalities of Treasury Finance (bank account management, cash management, investment management, payments processing, risk management, and compliance). We're seeking an outstanding candidate to join this growing team. WHAT YOU'LL DO At its core, Stripe is a treasury company, and we're building a top-notch Treasury Operations team to support our critical functions. In addition to daily operational support of the Treasury Finance functions, you'll help drive the transformation towards more efficient and automated processes, helping build tools and systems to create operational efficiency and excellence for each aspect of Treasury Operations, and develop metrics to ensure we're continuously improving the function. You'll also collaborate closely with the Liquidity Management, Capital Markets, and Capital and Financial Risk Management pillars within Treasury Finance to support operations for cash management, trading, and investment programs. RESPONSIBILITIES * Support our cash management processes (including funding, cash positions, forecasting, and other aspects of treasury operations) * Help manage daily operations relating to FX and interest rate trading support, investigation of breaks and aged items, and bank partner relationship management in the market * Analyze and optimize funds flows across a number of areas including costs, working capital, liquidity risk, and other constraints leveraging system solutions where possible * Assist with the creation and updating of Treasury Finance policies and procedures, and RCSA controls * Develop metrics that help monitor the overall health of the function and help set priorities for future developments * Support internal and external audits as needed WHO YOU ARE We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS * 4+ years of Treasury experience, preferably within liquidity management, finance risk management, and process improvements * Strong problem-solving skills. You take a hands-on approach to dive into the details of a complex problem and come up with scalable solutions. * Experience building processes and leveraging systems to scale treasury operations * Strong communication skills to build cross-functional relationships * Fast learner, with strong attention to detail, and ability to multi-task and navigate a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and flexibility with changing requirements PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Strong knowledge of the payments industry * Knowledge of regulations that pertain to the payments and financial services industry * Experience with SQL, R, or equivalent

ABOUT THE ROLE You'll own the end-to-end execution of liquidity workflows and partner operations across our Francophone corridors. Reporting to the Head of Trading & Treasury, this is high-impact individual contributor work that combines analytical rigor with operational ownership. You'll ensure liquidity is optimised, trades are executed accurately, and regional operations run seamlessly in a fast-paced, cross-border environment. You're not just reporting on performance. You're driving it daily, forecasting demand, executing positions, managing partner relationships, and closing the loop on every discrepancy. WHAT YOU'LL BUILD AND OWN * Own daily and weekly liquidity forecasting across regional wallets and accounts. Ensure funding levels are optimised to meet transaction demand while adhering to exposure limits. * Support and execute regional trading activity in coordination with the Liquidity Manager. Manage currency positions within defined parameters, maintaining clear and proactive communication with the Treasury team. * Act as the primary point of contact for regional partners and aggregators. Ensure operational stability while identifying opportunities to improve partner performance and processes. * Take full ownership of the reconciliation lifecycle. Track funds across the settlement chain, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate reporting to Finance and Group teams. * Serve as the regional subject matter expert. Provide insights on settlement trends, partner performance and operational risks that may impact delivery. YOUR EXPERIENCE * Proven experience in Treasury Operations, FX, or within fintech and remittance environments. Experience with XOF/XAF regions is a strong advantage. * Native-level bilingual proficiency in French and English. Essential. * Strong analytical capability with experience in forecasting, liquidity management and data-driven decision making. Comfortable using treasury tools and building or improving models. * Solid understanding of cross-border payments, settlement cycles and reconciliation processes. * A detail-oriented operator. You take pride in accuracy, close the loop on every discrepancy, and thrive on precision. * Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with both internal teams and external partners. NICE TO HAVE * Experience in West African or Central African corridor operations. * Familiarity with specific treasury platforms (e.g., Murex, FIS, etc.). * Background in payments fintech or remittance companies.
