Job Title Thesis – Develop a Power Measuring Device Job Description Category Power, Electronics, Electrical measurements Scope 2 students completing a Master or Bachelor thesis Background At Axis New Business Audio Products, we develop audio products for security, such as horn-, ceiling- and cabinet speakers driven by Power over Ethernet (PoE). PoE has very strict power level limits depending on the power class. We want to be able to use as much power as possible and therefore we want to investigate different ways to maximize our power usage without over-consuming. For us to do this we need a high-resolution power meter that can give us a detailed measurement of how much power the device consumes. Goal Investigate what resolution and bandwidth would be sufficient Develop a power meter board Verify the design Who are you? Master student in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics or similar. The announced thesis is open only to students affiliated with a Swedish University/College either directly or via an exchange program. When the thesis proposal states that it includes two students working together, we would like you to apply in pairs.
