Mölnlycke is now looking for a Senior Global Project Manager to join our newly established Wound Care PMO. We are transforming from a landscape where project management has often been performed as a side responsibility into a professional, value-driven project organization that enables stronger execution, greater business impact, and consistent delivery excellence. This role is a true lighthouse position within the PMO. We're looking for an experienced project leader who can set the benchmark for project excellence, bring fresh external perspectives, and help establish the standards, behaviours, and ways of working that will define our PMO for years to come. Here's how you'll make an impact in this role: Lead complex, cross-functional global projects and programs that are critical to Mölnlycke's strategic priorities. Drive initiatives across new product development, innovation, business transformation, and M&A integration. Translate strategy into executable plans and deliver measurable business value. Build alignment across global stakeholders including R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Commercial and Operations teams. Apply Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery approaches depending on business needs and project context. Drive governance, decision-making, risk management, and benefit realization throughout the project lifecycle. Help shape and mature the newly established Global PMO, contributing to standards, methodologies, governance, and capability development. Act as a role model and trusted advisor, demonstrating what great project leadership looks like across the organization. Support knowledge sharing, mentoring, and the professionalization of project management practices at Mölnlycke. What you bring Extensive experience as a professional Project Manager or Program Manager leading complex, cross-functional initiatives. Experience navigating ambiguity, organizational change, and evolving business environments. Outstanding stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence without formal authority. Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with senior leaders and executive stakeholders. Strong business and commercial acumen, with the ability to connect projects to value creation and strategic outcomes. Strong expertise across project delivery methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, Stage-Gate, and Hybrid approaches. A proven track record of delivering projects in regulated environments. Knowledge and experience of working in SAFe or other agile at scale settings Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field. Nice-to-haves Experience helping build, transform, or mature a PMO function. Experience with M&A integration projects. Exposure to value-stream organizations. PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification. RTE, LPM or similar certifications Experience within Medical Devices, Pharma, Automotive, or other highly regulated industries. Experience delivering projects involving hardware or combined hardware/software products. YOUR MISSION AT VOI As an Operations Strategy Manager, you will focus on the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of our in-field and warehouse operation. You will support the fleet organisation in delivering operational excellence across set KPIs and ensure successful city launches and completion of long-term improvement projects. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the local Fleet team, third-party logistics providers (3PLs), central stakeholders, and other cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and business success across the region. This will include: * Defining and shaping the operations strategy — including logistics partner management, workforce planning, and service design execution — and developing performance metrics and dashboards for in-field operations. * Driving high-quality data management and data-driven decision-making to improve operational excellence and performance across KPIs (e.g. backlog, cost per repair, repair efficiency, uptime). * Owning budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking to ensure efficient resource allocation and long-term operational success. * Managing cross-functional operations projects (PMO-type) to ensure successful implementation and sustainable impact across local teams. * Contributing to city launches by coordinating cross-functional planning and execution with local and central stakeholders. * Acting as the main point of contact for 3PLs, managing relationships from sourcing to contract negotiation, and collaborating with Fleet Managers on performance monitoring and follow-up. * Supporting Fleet and Site Managers on execution, acting as the bridge between central and local teams to continuously drive compliance and improvement across processes. * Proactively identifying and implementing improvement opportunities to maximise efficiency, revenue, and overall success of our operations in the region. WHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARK We are looking for a structured, analytical, and strategic problem-solver with the ability to drive progress independently, manage effective collaboration across diverse stakeholders, and adapt quickly to changing priorities. In addition to being professionally fluent in English and German, we believe the right person has: * Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, or a related field. * 3 - 5+ years of experience in operations or strategy, ideally from consulting or a fast-paced environment. * Strong analytical capability with proficiency in data management, in-depth data analysis, and delivering actionable insights * Experience in vendor management and contract negotiations, preferably within logistics or 3PL partnerships. * Experience managing complex cross-functional projects and aligning local and central teams. * Proven ability to translate data into strategic decisions, identify performance drivers, and implement improvements collaboratively.
