Depending on your profile and interests. As a software engineer in our team you will be responsible for the software design and implementation in a solution. We are working on Linux systems. We are working on the vertical in the software stack (mostly C++) and we are also working with the web based interfaces using Typescript and React. Cyber security is important for us. Git and Gerrit is used for revision handling and review of the C++ code. We are writing test cases in Python. Debugging and fixing bugs is part of everyday work. Accuracy of our solution is a big part and a challenge. Together we find solutions to complex problems in a complex code base. Who are you? THE ROLE The Core Systems team at Sharkmob is responsible for, among other things, the complex domain of rendering. This is an area where we are determined to improve both capacity and skill, and to that end we’re looking for an engineer with extensive experience – someone who will bite into the hardest challenges in levelling up the visual fidelity and performance of our game. As an experienced Render Engineer in the Core Systems team you'll be able to help expand and redefine the team's responsibilities and scope, and set new standards for how our game looks and plays. You thrive on sharing what you know. Whether it's explaining why a solution works, reviewing a colleague's approach, or spotting a teachable moment in a tricky bug - helping those around you grow as engineers comes naturally to you.
