The Bridge Operations strategy provides operational leverage and expands Stripe's portfolio of operational capabilities to support

This role will be part of the Risk Operations organization in Bridge Operations that is accountable for monitoring, investigating, and reporting suspicious activity indicative of money laundering and other financial crimes. WHAT YOU’LL DO In this role, you will act in a player-coach capacity and are accountable for supporting Risk/Partner Risk Operations associates. This team will investigate accounts to identify risks to Stripe business related to fraud and user policy requirements. You will set clear goals and provide guidance and mentorship to ensure individual and team success. We ensure that prohibited parties cannot utilize our services and identify bad actors engaging in money laundering, terrorist financing, or other financial crimes. WHAT YOU’LL DO In this role, you will lead and build the Bridge Financial Crimes Operations team, which was established following Stripe’s acquisition. You will manage a team of Operations Associates dedicated to mitigating financial crime risks specifically for Bridge customers and end-users. Your main focus will be guiding the team through critical Anti-Money Laundering (AML) reviews. This includes overseeing the validation of customer and end-user data and documentation, analyzing transactions and on-chain activity, and assessing customer behavior to effectively detect and prevent money laundering and other financial crimes within the Bridge ecosystem. The Financial Crimes Operations Manager will be an adaptable leader and cultivate the engagement of their team members while guiding them to be the best they can be, through feedback, coaching, mentoring, and advocacy within the organization. This means helping to set team goals, and using metrics to efficiently measure and guide team performance in pursuit of those goals.
