Senior Software Engineer – build autonomous AI workflows at Crunched

About the role

Want to build and ship AI systems that professionals rely on for real work? Crunched is looking for a senior engineer who wants to own the hard problems from architecture to production – in a small team moving fast.

About Crunched

Crunched builds an autonomous AI analyst for strategy, finance and advisory workflows, bringing AI agents into Excel rather than asking users to change how they work. The company is backed by Y Combinator and has raised NOK 55 million in seed funding.

The engineering challenge goes beyond a chatbot: agents, data flows and reliable execution need to work together in a product used for consequential decisions. You will work close to the founders, customers and engineers, with room to shape the stack and engineering culture. This is a high-intensity, on-site role in Oslo – a fit for someone who values ownership and building together in person.

The process includes a meet and greet, a technical interview and a paid workday with the team. Working language is English. The role is five days on-site in Oslo.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and interviews are held continuously. The role may be filled before the deadline, so we encourage you to apply as early as possible.

Apply no later than 30 November 2026. For questions or a confidential conversation, contact ctd@yourheadway.no.
