As we scale rapidly, we are investing in building the internal infrastructure that will support that growth - and indirect
procurement is one of the last functions to be formally structured. To date, indirect spend and capital equipment purchases have
been handled directly by the business units themselves, without centralised procurement oversight, sourcing strategy or supplier
governance.
This role is a creation. You will be the first person at Harmattan to own this perimeter end-to-end - building the function from
scratch, bringing structure where there is currently none, and establishing yourself as the go-to partner for every team when it
comes to non-production spend and investment. This is not a role for someone looking to manage an existing process. It is a role
for someone who sees an unmapped territory and wants to shape it.

Full ownership of a greenfield indirect procurement function — you will build it from the ground up.

As a Procurement Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in optimising SaaS procurement for our customers. You'll partner closely to develop strategic sourcing plans, navigate negotiations with key SaaS vendors, and oversee supplier relationships throughout their lifecycle. You will report to a Procurement Lead and work closely with the rest of the Procurement and AM team, with responsibility for delivering great outcomes to our customers by delivering commercial strategies while negotiating SaaS purchases and renewals with their vendors. Responsibilities: * You’ll be accountable for Vertice’s service delivery into a portfolio of accounts, supported by Vertice’s broader delivery capability and resources * You’ll work with a range of customers, some of the fastest growing and best known in the world, negotiating SaaS deals on their behalf * You’ll work closely with the Vertice account management and sales teams to maintain strong relationships with our customers. * You’ll act as the primary buy-side contact for our customers, ensuring that their commercial objectives are met. * You’ll work alongside your customers to develop software commercial category strategies, jointly targeting the areas of greatest commercial benefit * Work with senior stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of their requirements, purchase objectives and technology strategy.
