Votre rôle
Vous pilotez les projets structurants de notre activité de recyclage, en forte croissance. Véritable chef de projet transverse, vous coordonnez les équipes R&D, Industrialisation, Approvisionnement et Operations pour transformer des flux de matières recyclées en procédés industriels fiables et scalables. Garant de la bonne exécution des projets dans le respect des jalons, des coûts et des exigences qualité, vous êtes un acteur clé de la montée en puissance industrielle de Fairmat.

Notre équipe Recycling est au cœur du modèle industriel de Fairmat. Transversale et en pleine croissance, elle pilote les projets bout-en-bout : de la qualification des matières recyclées jusqu’à leur intégration dans nos procédés de production. Elle travaille en lien étroit avec les équipes R&D, Lab, Industrialisation et Operations. Elle est principalement basée dans notre siège parisien, avec des déplacements réguliers sur notre site de production à Nantes.

Maritime transport is now entering one of the most consequential transitions in its history: the shift to zero-emission shipping. The decisions made this decade will shape how global supply chains decarbonize, how ports evolve, and how maritime fuels transform. At Smart Freight Centre, we are building the industry platforms, partnerships, and data frameworks that will enable this transition at scale. This role sits at the operational engine of that transformation ensuring that global maritime programs run effectively, data is robust, and stakeholders are supported. ✏️About the position This is a hands-on technical, project management and program delivery role focused on executing and strengthening SFC’s maritime programs while conceiving newer ones. As Technical Manager – Maritime, you will: * Ensure smooth execution of emissions reporting cycles * Manage structured data workflows and methodologies * Support technical engagement with global members * Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting systems You will work closely with the Director Maritime and the Executive Director India and global SFC program teams, external stakeholders, including data platform consultants and beyond, to maintain data integrity, reporting consistency, and operational excellence. You will be a key support to help expand SFC’s maritime programs and partnerships across South Asia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa and beyond. ⚓ What You Will Drive Program Execution & Reporting * Support and manage end-to-end reporting cycles (e.g., Clean Cargo, GRC) * Track submissions, timelines and data completeness * Coordinate with carriers and stakeholders to ensure timely reporting * Prepare aggregated outputs and reporting summaries Data Management & Technical Delivery * Maintain reporting templates,data sets and technical documentation * Support implementation of methodology updates (e.g., TEU-km,tonne-km evolution) * Assist in emissions calculations and structured data aggregation * Ensure consistency and quality across datasets Member Technical Engagement * Act as a technical point of contact for member queries * Support working groups, technical discussions and carrier sessions * Develop guidance materials,FAQs and documentation Governance & Documentation * Prepare technical materials for governance meetings * Draft summaries,presentations and decision-support documents * Track action items and ensure follow-up on key decisions Data Sharing & Ecosystem Alignment * Support alignment with data-sharing protocols and confidentiality requirements * Coordinate with tool providers and stakeholders on reporting integration * Help maintain trust and transparency across member data processes Continuous Improvement * Identify inefficiencies in reporting workflows and suggest improvements * Provide structured feedback to enhance methodologies and processes * Support evolution of SFC’s maritime data infrastructure Experience & Background We welcome candidates with 7–10 years of experience across maritime, logistics, infrastructure or climate strategy, including roles in: * Shipping, ports, or maritime engineering * Maritime sustainability or decarbonization initiatives * Consultancy or industry bodies Education Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Sustainability, Environment Sciences or related discipline. Maritime/similar operational background is preferred – Chief Mate certification or Marine Engineer Officer (MEO) Class II; Experience as Senior Engineering Officer or Nautical Officer. Skills & Capabilities * Strong analytical skills and experience working with structured datasets * Proficiency in Excel (Python or data tools is an advantage) * High attention to detail and data accuracy * Ability to manage structured reporting processes and timelines * Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders * Understanding of emissions reporting frameworks and maritime operations (preferred) Who You Are Detail-oriented. Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run. The operations team is looking for a Site Director (Germany) to own safe, compliant, and efficient operations across our sites in Munich (includes integration halls, offices, labs, and test areas). Reporting to Lead Operations, you will lead vendors or work hands-on to deliver facilities reliability, compliant execution, and friction‑free activities. RESPONSIBILITIES * Lead day‑to‑day test site operations: reception, goods‑in/out, utilities, janitorial, waste, test site activities (together with the site manager and logistics responsible) * Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance; manage work orders, spares, and service contracts to keep critical utilities running. * Run office/lab/test‑area fit‑outs and moves: contractor pre‑qualification, risk assessments, permit‑to‑work (PTW), and safe commissioning in occupied areas. * Manage leases and landlord relationships; track obligations, service charges, and issues to resolution. * Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics, including dangerous goods with certified partners; ensure yard/dock safety and traffic plans. * Implement the company EHS Management System on site (defined by the EHS Engineer): chemical and waste controls, PPE, and legal registers; drive incident reporting, root‑cause analysis, and corrective actions. * Own emergency preparedness: evacuation plans, drills, first‑aiders/fire wardens, and liaison with local authorities as needed. * Operate physical security: access control/badging, visitor management, CCTV, key control, and guard services. * Implement export‑control physical safeguards (aligned with our Internal Compliance Program): controlled rooms/cabinets, visitor escorting, signage, and disposal procedures. * Build and manage the site OPEX/CAPEX budget; run project stage‑gates, vendor SOWs, and change orders; deliver projects on time and on budget with as‑builts and O&M docs. * Provide accurate records and reporting for audits, Quality Management System expectations, and ESG/B‑Corp data (energy, water, waste, recycling). * Lead and coach the test site team and vendors; communicate proactively about works, outages, and changes. QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS * 5+ years leading multi‑disciplinary site or test‑site operations in Germany (industrial, aerospace, or high‑hazard environments). * Proven experience planning and executing propulsion/engine or high‑energy tests (stand allocation, crew rostering, TRR/DR cadence, anomaly management). * Strong knowledge of German EHS and DREAL environmental regulations (particularly with ICPE sites) and practical experience with contractor controls in hazardous operations. * Comfortable hands‑on during test campaigns; disciplined communication and decision‑making under time pressure. * Familiarity with cryogenic and high‑pressure fluid systems, instrumentation/DAQ, and interlock/safing concepts (you will not design these, but must govern readiness and safe operation). * Demonstrated success delivering fit‑outs/commissioning, running maintenance programs, and closing audit actions. * Budget ownership (OPEX/CAPEX), vendor negotiation, and basic project governance. * Familiarity with QMS expectations (ISO 9001/9100), CMMS tools, and MS 365/SharePoint; basic ability to read/redline site drawings. * Languages: German (native‑level) and English (professional working proficiency). * Leadership: organized, service‑oriented, decisive; able to set expectations and coach teams and suppliers; willing to support off‑hours/weekend test ops when needed.
