We slice it, we dice it, and we use it to empower our decision making.   What You will do: * Working as one of the  leaders within the Product Analytics team and closely with the Product Pod, you will be the lead analyst responsible for driving improvement in the product, through data, analytics and insight. * Lead on Experimentation and AB Testing as a key element of the role, where you will run the analysis for any tests, using our in house system and mentor others. * Product Analytics at Viator is about finding opportunities to improve customer experience, this is through many aspects but would include Funnel, Feature and Cohort Analysis. * It's also about Realising those opportunities, working with the Product Pod to provide insight that drives change, either through AB Testing or Release.  * In supporting the Objectives and Key Results we’re looking to drive, you will play a key role in creating reporting, analytics and insight views, that help the team to understand the product, the customer and commercial performance, whilst guiding others to do the same. * Talking about the customer, we’re not just talking about one group, so segmentation, cohorts and customer understanding are at the heart of the role.    Skills & Experience: * Significant Experience in a related analytical role, (ideal background may include Product Analyst, Data Science - Product, CRO, Digital Analytics, or Experimentation Analyst) * Education: Bachelor's Degree in an analytical field (maths, economics, engineering, statistics, computer science etc) * Skills - Advanced SQL, AB Testing / Experimentation, Tableau/Looker, Excel etc * Proactive - ability to lead the analytics discussions , driving change, shaping approach * Knowledge - ideally you will have knowledge of and worked in a Product Analytics or similar role, covering AB Testing, Conversion Optimisation, Funnel and Feature Analysis * Customer Focus - having a passion for customer understanding and their experience, you will have experience of Segmentation and Cohort Analysis.  * Collaboration - Your previous experience will have given the opportunity to work with Product, Engineering, Design etc, as part of a Product Approach.  * Critical Thinking - Your previous experience will demonstrate the analysis of available facts, evidence, observations, and arguments in order to form a judgment by the application of rational, skeptical, and unbiased analyses and evaluation. * Leadership - You demonstrate the best approach to analytical problems, applying critical thinking, you lead others by example in executing best practices     We strive to create an accessible and inclusive experience for all candidates. We’re looking for a Principal Software Engineer to join our fast-growing team. This role is open to candidates based within a commutable distance (generally up to 1.5 hours) of our Cracow office. We embrace flexibility in where and how work gets done and also value meaningful in-person moments to connect and collaborate. You can expect a remote-first working model with periodic in-person gatherings at your closest office for team connection, planning, or other key moments. This is a permanent contract of employment/Umowa o pracę.    What you'll do: * Drive the design and architecture of complex, scalable systems that underpin our technology solutions. Capable of designing long-lasting systems to solve complex problems (including scalability, reliability, consistency and quality) often across an engineering pillar. * Conduct design reviews at both the engineering pillar level and across the broader engineering organization. * Leads generalisable improvements in operational maturity for his platform and promotes best practices with other engineers when it comes to operations. * Work closely with engineering managers, other principal and senior principal engineers to drive technology strategy and roadmap that aligns to the wider organisation vision. * Partners with Product Manager(s) and  Engineering Manager(s) to establish clear technical delivery milestones for key initiatives and then helps to drive delivery within the agreed scope, quality and on time. * Build trusted leadership by being regarded as a go-to person across a wide number of technologies, practices, and tools used in an engineering pillar. * Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, commitments, and timelines.   Skills & Experience: * 10+ years of experience in commercial software development. * Demonstrated excellence in working with cross functional teams in fast-paced environments, both in terms of technical leadership and cross team collaboration. * Excellent command of tools and expertise for troubleshooting production issues. * Experience around building scalable and distributed software systems, from conception to production. * Experience of software architecture, design principles and engineering best practices.  * Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms, object-oriented programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala, and working with both SQL and NoSQL databases. * Exposure to the data engineering ecosystem will be a huge plus.   Why Join Us? * Competitive compensation packages, including base salary and annual bonus. * “Work your way” with flexibility to suit your lifestyle. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with deep experience building and operating data-intensive systems to join our Datastores team. This role is ideal for a backend engineer who has built and operated production systems that rely heavily on databases, caching layers, and data pipelines, and who is excited to deepen their expertise in scalable, cloud-native data infrastructure. You will work at the intersection of application engineering and data platform reliability - partnering with service teams to improve how data is stored, accessed, scaled, and observed across Peloton’s ecosystem. YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON You will: * Design, build, and operate backend systems that rely on scalable and highly available data persistence layers. * Partner with service teams to improve database design, query performance, and data modeling. * Contribute to automation around infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform and Backstage. Improve developer experience by building self-service tooling for databases and caching systems. * Work on observability, performance insights, and autoscaling strategies for production datastores. * Contribute to architectural decisions around multi-regional data persistence and global scalability. WHAT YOU BRING We’re looking for strong backend engineers who are “data-aligned” — meaning you’ve built systems where data performance, reliability, and modeling mattered. * 5+ years of software engineering experience building production backend systems. * Strong experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization. * Experience working with NoSQL datastores such as DynamoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, or Memcache. * Exposure to data pipelines, event-driven architectures, or systems that interface with streaming or batch processing frameworks. * Experience operating services in cloud environments (preferably AWS). * A strong understanding of distributed systems fundamentals: latency, consistency models, replication, and scaling strategies. * Experience running or tuning PostgreSQL or Aurora in production. * Experience with multi-region architectures. * Exposure to observability tooling (metrics, tracing, query insights).
